Thread: BH Investigation & BH XP

I've read the BH guides (above links) and don't see anything concerning how a novice BH earns XP for Investigation. I know BH missions give it, however, I've heard ppl say that BH can infiltrate an enemy base and slice some type of terminal wire there??? Where is this info at?
I have BH 0-4-4-4 and am working on Investigation now...would like to know what the quickest way of getting BH XP via missions or infiltrating enemy bases works.Are these bases specific locations or random spawns?
Can someone please provide more info on this aspect pls?? Idon't knwy why it's not documentedclearly in the guides.

I like to go to Tyrena. On the side of the bank there isa BH terminal. I open the missions, then hit the alt key. I move towards the starport, stopping at the end of the banks wall. Standing just outside the little park there is a Spynet guy. I target him. Then I bring up my datapad and my world map. I accept a mission, type /conv and see where the mission is. If the mission isn't neara starport or shuttleport, I abandon the mission and select another. Rinse/repeat until you have 10,000 investigation xp.

Ok, this is how you jam the uplink terminal in a faction NPC base. Get a few Friends together, especially depending on your CL, hopefully you're in a guild. FInd an opposite faction NPC base, proceed to kill the NPC's, go inside, kill those NPC's that spawn once you enter. Find the upling terminal, click on it and proceed to try and jam it. Thos process is basically guessing on which frequency to jam, numbered one through 10 and you actually have to do it twice. Once you've done it you recieve 1000 investigation xp. Fairly easy to do, if you're in a group and if you know where there are alot of opposite faction forward outposts you can farm them to your hearts content. One other thing you can only jam the uplink once every server restart.

yeah, I did bases. All I did was go combatant and find bases using /find imp or reb then run in, /tar uplink, click on it, get incapped, slice, exit the base. 1K exp fast, I did investigation 3 and 4 in about 3-4 hours. If you know where 28 bases without turrets are though it will go wicked fast, I had to spend hours finding mine

no, it's a BH skill.
Something else I always advise is "just do the BH missions." Sure, you want the elite/boss marks, so does everyone. But there is loot along the way regardless, and it helps youfigure out your template as well. Just my two credits - do what you want.

and can more than one person jam the uplink in a base within a certain time ?
is there a time limit between when this can be done ?

Only one person can Jam the Uplink per base per server reset.
