Well i just faced my first full temp. Master sabers some enhancer and some healer. I came close to beating him but at the last strecth of my health i tried to load a duel stance instead of heal up, though i could afford it. I was wrong, got db'd. Lol he forgot to load up force armor so i had a real advantage but then again i forgot to use my droid sitting next to me and use my duel stance. All in all i think i did pretty good.
Good job, sounds like you know exactly what you did wrong. That's half the battle. Soon you willhave all your hotkeys, combat tactics and counter moves memorized like the alphabet.
Keep at it.
Yup its all about practice, you might wanna try something different and get them in a npc city, alot stand around and talk or get missions etc for a while, when i was MRM/MBH/CM4000 I would get a good bomb droid and use follow target command, go 55m away and go prone, shout the attack command and the droid counts down, on '2' i hit sniper shot, if the jedi didnt have his auras and stuff on would most likely kill him.
But sounds like your doing ok, just keep at it
The Jedi has just as many "tricks" to catch BHs approching as BHs have sneeking up on Jedi. Point is, Jedi and BHs are people. We all have aposablie thombs and are capable of inteligent thought.
As a MRM, you have cover. Every ability has its weakness and strengths. You can sneek in undetected, but you have to start out more than 256m. With CA/AA's and FS skills, you can get your Terain Negotiation to 70+. Anything over 50 will give you faster crawl speed.
Other than your PvP skills, you need to work on your approch. If you can't cover and crawl or catch then offguard; you will have to Swoop in with guns blazing.
Every mission offers somthing to learn. Evalutate each win or loss and attemp to lern from it. Find out what works best for you. Use everthing you got and see what works best. Consider your first few weeks/months of BH missions a training period.
