Thread: Can BH take other ppl with them on normal loot missions?

Can BH take other ppl with them on normal loot missions? In other words if I were grouped with my friends BH, could I go with him and attack the NPC marks?

i heard ya cant.. but i also heard that someone else could heal you .. just not fight with ya ..
but i have no idea.. im just bored and responding with information i know to be "questionable" lol

The answer to your question is yes you can take someone with you and you will split the payout for the mission with them. HOWEVER, only the BH that has the mission can attack the target, the other person may heal you but may not help you fight the target.

bring a doc for heals and state recoveryso you can concentrate on damage dealing.

I havent done it but as far as I know a pal can heal ya.
Thing is...
This is no way to train for...or be a BH. A BH has to learn to fight alone. If ur just in it for the loot, your prolly not gonna get much help or sympathy on these forums.

Wrong.. at least with jedi, A jedi can heal you, and the mark becomes red to him too..

wow, thanks for being such a helpfull guy
and btw... just doing MBH NPC missions solo is no way to train for jedi either..... so just have fun and if you want brind a doc.. it certainly makes it easier. I know as a MBH / MPist (only stims for heals) i had a hard time beating my npc marks cause of their regen.... but it can be done. good luck!

Odd. I had a mission 2 days ago, where my mark was in the science outpost on dath. By the time I got there, anotherplayer had already taken 1/4 of the marks life off. I wasn't grouped with this person, but they were attacking my mark as if it was just a regular mob.

I've done this and it sorta works. You can group with a BH that has an NPC mission and heal them. When you're grouped with the BH, the mark is just like any other NPC, with only the "Examine" option. Once you heal them, you get the combat music and start the combat animation, but cannot attack the mark. I healed my friend (who for some reason had a level 90 mark I believe...I may be mistaken, it was a while ago) and was never attacked by the mob once. Once the BH wins, you'll get half the payout.

If you are both combatants you can both fight the same NPC target. In fact in my experience they mark actually attacks the combatant "Without" the mission right off jump street. Kaz and I used to do this together to just break the monotony of those boring arse NPC missions trying to gather good loot.

Not that I'm aware of, last week when returning from a mission on yavin I found another bh taking on a boss mark in the outpost. I sat down beside him and healed him while he fought the mark. Worked just fine. We weren't grouped though. I have been grouped with a CM while fighting a boss mark before, but that was probably a month ago now or more...
