Thread: MBH/Master smuggler?

is this an okay temp? What is a damage shot you'd get besides critical?

Go ask the Smugglers. But, I think "Low-blow" is a good one. Oh, and "Last-Ditch". Really, I have no idea. heh

Here's some advice I gave another. I use to be MS. I'd say think aboutjust 4xxx too and weigh the advantages.

Smuggler dazes, like concussion shot and panic shot stop a foe from doing anything tiltheyget damaged or the duration is out. Low blow is a -40 attack speed debuff. Overwhelming shot reduces state resists, and restraining shot is an average snare. The reckless shots are the damage shots. All of these have improved or advanced versions that will update as you level.


The best damage shot Smuggler gets is adv reckless shot, it debuffs your AC though. I'd think about something like Smuggler 4xxx, MBH, Carbineer x44x, and medic xx2x with healing efficiency cloths w/ 110 medic droid to boost the heals. You will have a 1,179 heal and that has been more than enough for me with stim D, synthsteak, thundercloud(Plus98 range D)and ruby B. I always keep duelist stance active too.

I am MC, MBH, SL xxx4 and Medic xx2x with the healing items I described.

I use this temp myself, and like it for PvE. I dare not try PvP until i get a broadband connection, but have found this temp to be quite good for PvE.


Last ditch and feign death have been fun to play with as well, hehe

I was going to try this template out as well. Correct me if I am wrong but it doesn't leave many skill points left over for any type of healing. Would be fun PVE wise but I wouldn't try a template that lacks healing in PVP. However, people use it so you can get by with it.

The Concussion Shot from Smuggler works great. Hit with concussion and your target can do nothing. It won't break unless you do more damage to them or the timer runs out. Can you give you time to heal yourself, drop states, etc...


The big bonus is in running with a group of your buddies. On encounters with multiple high level NPC's for instance the concussion shot is a huge bonus.....say on the Avatar. 3 or 4 level 82-85 NPC's on you...the smuggler can go around just keeping consussion on the marks not being attacked...the remaining group can work them one at a time then. It's a very useful prof for doing group stuff like this.
