HIyas folks,

Have been gone a while. my character Padi Wan has returned and will be smuggling hard and heavy on the Wanderhome server. With JTL, ( I know there is nothing specifically in there for smugglers yet), I am hoping the possibility to smuggle arms or spice or resources and components is on the horizon.

Like to say hi to our new correspondant and wish the best of luck in a hard task.

Ive been in SWG for over a year now, (first character was a smuggler as well). And its time to get back into it, Beta for JTL was great and maybe its a fool's hope but I sense neat stuff on the horizon of us smugglers...

Just recently came back to SWG - started a new character and was thinking of climbing the bounty hunter ranking again - has it changed much since the CU? Is it still fun?

I am returning to game after a 3 month hiatus.I didnt leave due to anything in game. I was gone do to a job change and some personal dealings. Now I'm back!!!

I have read about some changes since I have been gone. Seems like theris a lil more that I am missing.

Can someone give me an update on how things are going and anythingI can do to gain some kind of advantage or get back in game wthout a major stress and drama.

I am not interested in doing combat medic at all. I do seemany people doing so. Just not my thing.

Any help would be good.

First of all, I would highly recommend reading the stickies both in this forum and also the combat forums. That will give you a description of the ins and outs of combat and your profession.

I would recommend going to a place where groups form, get in one, and begin to learn combat that way. That way you're not trying to do it by yourself. Get in a group and do some missions.
