Thread: Suggestion for Bounty Hunter Vs Jedi

As well all know everytime we defeat a Jedi they lose Jedi XP. The Bounty Hunter gets credits, bragging rights and a boost to their ego.
I am a Bounty Hunter myself when I lose to a Jedi, I pretty much lose nothing except for decay on armor and weapons and a bruised ego.
I feel that to encourage Jedi to stand and fight we should also have the Bounty Hunter lose XP if they are defeated by the Jedi.
If a Jedi looses xp from defeat, I think it is only fair that we loose xp if we are defeated by a Jedi.
This might help with the house sitting problem we are having as well as Jedi running away.
I am sure this suggestion has been brought up before, I am hoping to shed more light on it.
It's been debated many times. I agree, to a point. That there needs to be a risk vs reward for Jedi and the Hunter. I think everyone can agree on that. However, no one seems to be able to agree on what that might include. Most popular "solutions" I've seen:
Bounty Hunter xp loss is a popular idea, though vehimently opposed by the majority of the community.
Bounty Hunter Ranking system and BvJ (Bounty v Jedi) "points", though this would create a Bounty Hunter vs Jedi mini-game within in the larger game.
Remove Jedi experience loss for death - also vehementally opposed by the communtity

I hear what you're saying, but it's just not realistic for BH's to lose exp upon failure. The biggest reason is, it's not what they signed up for. Now granted, dropping MBH because it's suddenly not what you want anymore isn't as bad as dropping Jedi would be for us, considering it takes much more time to get to the point where you can even START grinding Jedi. But simply, they didn't agree to it when they became a MBH.
