There are some instanced areas on Mustafar. These are quest and group specific and have timers, though, just like the Corvette missions.

first thing I did when servers went online this morning, get a jedi mission. of course he was at the mining facility and an easy 225 K as the overflow of players there means I go unnoticed lol

i got the name wen i was 3k away from my target sooooo no problems there

I just got owned by a jedi on mustafar because the planets lag is insane, it took me 45 min to travel the 2500 meters to him, luckily he was just standing there waiting for someone that whole time. I kd' him and then my ping jumped to 5000 and i couldn't do anyhting. he hit me 5 times i was dead and 15 min later AFTER cloning all the specials i tried to run during the fight kicked off in the cloner. I have a 3 gig processor with 1 gig of ram and a 9meg cable connection and still the lag was game breaking. true its first night for people on mustafr but even now i can't go to Kashyk cuz the lag is so bad there for me. When i first tried to land on mustafar tonight it took 2 hours (and no i'm not kidding ) for me to land. I hit travel and my harddrive was chugging and chugging. i cleaned my bathroom, kitchen and watched South Park and then it finally loaded. This expansion was a waste of my money. people kept telling me Kash would improve after the first night and it never did and i don't think this planet will either. Man what a waste grrrr

How much memory do you have? The hard drive is chugging because it's having to load all the files into the hd cache instead of your RAM.

You may have the above, but graphics card and xp maintenance is the main factor here

Defrag your system and clean registry and close all programs you are not using you'll find it'll run better

press the tab key, it targets the nearest attackable thing i.ea lair or npc. so if your near a group of jedi hit the tab key and your target is...well...targeted

It's still not to late to "cancel preorder" from the station store...

A friend of mine (RL) tried the planet yesterday with a nice system (3.2 HT, 2 gig of ram, 4 meg cable connection but an Nvidia card) had the same trouble. Went straight to the store and canceled his preorder. He hasn't been billed yet. You should however lose any claimed rewards and access to the planet. He hadn't claimed his rewards yet and the screen stopped coming up, and naturally he hasn't tried to go back to that lag hole...

So far I'm not impressed, the only thing I wanted (the YT-2400) is way too hard to get a group for.
