Hey all, just wondering if anyone has, and if so would be kind enough to post it for me..

Basically, what I'm looking for is a macro that shoots underhandshot, and also sets a timer that gives me a message of exactly when I can do my next KD.. Thanks very much!

Combat macro's are a bad idea....

/underhand

/pause 30

/tell YOURNAME knockdown READY

Replace your KD shot on the toolbar with this.

Why a bad idea? The only other macro I run is a stim macro...I've basically tossed out the seemingly useless duelist stance macro I used to run..

Thing about combat macro's is that the timing can be altered by your opponent. From the BH point of view. Most Jedi run macro's with force armor and/or aura, right? A well timed KD and startle shot will break up that macro timing since it the macro doesn't know that they player can't apply the buff to themselves. It will trip and not activate the skill. Then the Jedi is vulnerable until the manually reapply the armor and/or aura, allowing massive damage.

This also messes up their timing in the fight, because the have to /dump the macro and restart it again. Sure it only takes a few seconds to do that, but in that few seconds, the Jedi is vulnerable.

Same thing goes for BH combat macro's. If you are put into certain states, your macro's will become miss timed, leaving YOU vulnerable.

This i true of recrusive combat macros. If you use the above non-recursive, you should be fine. That one will hit the KD, wait 30 secs and tell you it's ready again. Then you can either hit it or not. I've seen people fully macro their combat, and in my opinion, it's not for me, and I just dont' recommend it.

Ah yeah, I know what you're saying..What you have is exactly what I wanted..I prefer not to have looping macros either..However, I have one more question, can you show me a macro for taking a exo-wafer every say minute? I'd say every 30s, but that might fill me up quickly..I have two open boxes in my 00 toolbarPane, at spots 14 and fifteen..Thanks again..

Best thing for foods, is to put them on a different bar.... you can use /ui action toolBarPane00 or 01, 02, 03, etc to switch.... but your specific request:

MACRO NAME: exo

/ui action toolBarSlot14

/pause 60

/macro exo

That will call itself to repeat indefinately. To call a macro to repeat, use /macro NAME where name is whatever you named the macro. You can "quit" the macro by typing /dump That will stop all macro's running. To make the food on your F6 tool bar andremain on the same toolbar.... do this:

/ui action toolBarPane05

/ui action toolBarSlot00

/ui action toolBarPane00

/pause 60

/macro exo

Ahhh.. I see..thanks very much.

I have all my other foods setup exactly how you have yours..I hit F1 on pane 6, have my foods on pane 5, and at the end it switches me back to pane 1, or 00 which is my combat pane..I'd just rather have this one macro right there..thanks again..

Well.... not exactly like mine. My primary PvE pane is the F1 pane. My PvP pane is F4. My weapons are on pane 3, armor and clothing on 2 and 5. I set my keymapping to "modeless" so I have to hit "enter" to start chat. This allows my beyboard to become a 102 key macro board.

Off the top of my head......

1-7 are weapons macros which automatically change weapons, DOOM style

CNTRL + ~ is my combat food macro

SHIFT + ~ is my auto dismount, talk to spynet op in Kaadara, remount bike

Q is /dump

D is duelist stance recursive

] is a one shot synthsteak for "close encounters"

B is /bo trans

SHIFT 1-4 are armor and clothing macros to swtich automatically

L is a loot macro

F is an autofire macro with /rangedshot and /critical hit alternating for grinding, or just lazy mob killing

I have a bunch of others for mundane things, but that's what I can remember now. All together, I use probably about 30 different macros, none of which are straight up combat macros though

They keys on my F4 pane are the normal, stand, prone, call/store bike, heals, specials, etc....
