Hm, post number two.

Please refrain from flaming me, or ridiculing me for not reading in the entirity of amassed messages on this forum. I remember somewhere, however am unable to find it again, a thread that dealt with bounty marks.

This Jedi vs BH thing, obviously takes up alot of everyones time in arguing and claiming one-side is better than the other, and then the complaints about exploiting and nerfing.

So, proposition to the Correspondant, if they are willing to listen and pass along to the Devs.

I do not remember in any Star Wars novel, movie, fiction, or even fan fic (no, I personally don't read this, but others I know have and I asked their take on this) does a BH actually just hunt Jedi. Where is the fun in just having NPC marks, or Jedi marks? Why can't an average Joe Weaponsmith take out a bounty on a Smuggler that jipped him in a transaction and ran?

I think, that if done properly... and there would have to be plenty of discussion about this (I will not go into anything detailed because I'm sure it will just be over looked) that players should be able to take out bounties on other players. Now, the roleplaying aspect, you can certainly do that, but only if the other party is willing to go PVP, if not, it's kind of screwed. But if it is instituted, then perhaps on those rare times they tick someone off enough to put a bounty on their head, then they go automatically into a mark status. Perhaps they can hear rumors about someone putting a bounty on their head.

Who knows. It is just a thought, and I think would make the whole bounty hunting profession that much more enjoyable. Especially if you have to bid for the job. Higher the player, or more the person is willing to spend, the better BH they might be able to get.

Anyways, thats my meager 2 cents.

Unfortunately with the retarded way these forums work you need to either have a certain amount of posts, or be registered for a set amount of time before you can edit your posts.

Lame.. I know.

...Posting rants on these forums is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get ya anywhere... write that down.

Well that sucks. Thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to preview in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again. I hate looking at that post now. There goes any of my ideas.
