I'm almost MBH now only have to get about 5000 BH Xp for invest 4, so when I hit MBH, i will be a complete noob at Jedi Hunting, now i read these forums quit often for over 4 monthsbut i just need some help to get me ready for my first hunt.
My Temp is
(M)BH-MC-CM 4-x-x-x
Composite armor- 7000-5200
Foods/drinks etc.: Mandolorian wine, Muon Gold, Neutron Pixie, Ruby bliel,Teltier Noodles, Kan Waffers, Bofa Treat, Blob candy
I have a Proton carbine, but since iam no MBH i can't use it, it gives me 509.73 DPS unsliced, min dam is 456, i have to get this one sliced but what will be the best for hunting, speed or damage?
I heard of food/drink wich gives u +200 acc wich one is that?

I have the same template.
First off, don't plan on killing your mark when they have Force run2 or Force run3, Cripple Shot like to not stick when you need it the most. They can and they will run away from you and killing a runner with only crippling shot as your only way to prevent them to get away is no easy task. Also keep in mind, if they have Force Run 2 -(easy way to cheeck this is moving your mouse over the force run icon, if it says "66 terrain negociation" he got force run2)- they have improved force suppression, a Root.
Your armor is good for the trash can. Either seek a Battle Armor certed, Energy Layered (ie 7k energy) or if you are like me and enjoy the BH armor look, try to find a smith willing to craft you a BH armor energy layered, roughly 6k ish resist. Once you have that, you want Armor Break slice on it. See with your local smuggler.
The weapon, you are a Carabineer, only two options. Czerka or Nym Slug-Thrower. You want Kinetic weaponry. It goes through PSG's and the Nym's Slug-Thrower got a very High Min damage.
Food, don't use mando-wine or any other food/drink that boost your action/regen with huge filling... Use Blob Candy, Spiced Tea, Bofa Treat/Kanali Wafer. You need all the room for Synthsteak and Exo-Protein. Make good use of Ruby Biel, use with stims when you are KD and use Deuterium Pyro (+200 ranged acc.).

Edit- Forgot to add, Carabineer are master Kitter. Cripple shot is the best snare in the game. Use it at will, keep them between the 33m-50m range so they can't root/snare you.

Ok thanks, iam already looking for an energy based armor, couldn't find one yet, and both my local smiths are LD, i have a Nym's somewhere in my house, i will get that one sliced properly.
I just read on the Forum in an other topic that Armor break is good for 8% is that worth looking at the huge costs it will bring, and should i always have an Duelist stance macro running? or is this only good for ranged?

Armor Break debuff (Adv. Armor Break Swordman xx3x & Two-Handed Lightsaber xx4x) reduce your armor effectiveness by 65%. You can slice Armor with Armor Break Reduction up to 75% (wich is about a 60% slice customisation).
As for Duelist Stance i honestly don't bother against melee/jedi as i don't notice any damage reduction nor higher miss rate. I could be wrong though, if someone feel like testing it, but for now i believe its useless against melee foes.

I don't use duelist against melee attacks either for the same reason as the other guy.
When I used to run a duelist macro I found that it frequently screwed up my combat, interupting it and stuff. So I just wouldn't bother.
