Thread: what would u pay?

ok bounty hunters i need to pick your minds i just made ubese armor i know bounty hunters like to wear the new assault bh armor but i think u might change your minds i managed to make my armor 8003 energy resist. AS u all know lightsabers are energy weapons i think the cap for energy resist is 8200 i don't think that can be made at this point in time. atleast not on my server if i was to slice this armor to resist armor break what kinda cash would ppl be willing to pay. take into consideration that it took a long time to gather these resources and make this armor. thanx all.

i was in awe yesterday when i saw a ubese clad BH take out my buddy who needs onlyto complete his Master Lightsaber and Master Defender skill boxes for full template. My buddy just couldnt' damage the BH, so he slowly went down till dead.


The BH claimed his armour was just over 8100 energy resist and that he only spent 1mil for the whole suit. He did show me his weapon in a trade window. A low SAC of 53 (the lowest i ever seen but the min damage was only about 420.


I barely have 3mil as I have been offline for many months. I'd give you every penny I own and my beloved Mother for a sliced suit.

As a Wookiee, I can't wear Ubese, but I know some of the people I play with would be willing to shell out a mil to 2 mil for a suit with that kind of energy resistance.

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

You guys got crappy AS then... I pay 800k for a set of 7900 Maruader armor.


1 million for armor with 8100 against energy.


... min damage only about 420? if its a pistol that pretty good.. the 53 SAC comes from a gun with 65 SAC and then putting a SAC pup on it.

wow man i got my ubese suite for 900k and its 8100 energy protection but not sliced. Horay for vevy

Who here still has there first set of bone armor that cost them 30k to get the week armor was first being crafted in game. Mines on display in my ship.

On Flurry, Warrir sold me an Ubese suit with 8150 or something; it was more than 8100. The whole suit cost me 500k. What I need, however, is a full armor slice, and to slice all the pieces that take damage, I would need 5 mil. Gloves and boots don't do anything except hold AA's and look nice, but I only have about 9 mil as it is.

I'm lucky enough to be in a guild with two ASs. When I had MRM, I would get Ubese with 8153 energy resists, for free. Then get it AB sliced for free by the guild smuggler. Now I'm an MCM and I'm getting health enhanced RIS, for free, minus some easy favors that I don't mind doing.

I got aset of recon Tental With 8.1k energy resist and health Bonus of 250 all together

along with a Full slice on armor Brake for 5 mil.


Also A 1000dps Pistol with Sac of 69 and speed on 0.69 for 2mil

Trick is finding an AS with good enough resources to make the layering. AS have a devil of a time finding the needed resources to make the layers (and getting decent quality materials as well)

If you do find a AS that can make the stuff for you, you best have him make you a BUNCH of that armor because he may be out of business next month.

Its not just the energy resistance he must have had the max slice for armor break. I took on a Jedi with tantel armor on that had 8140 energy defense on it and the jedi killed me in under a minute, I had no slices on it for armor break. He hit me with armor break and then every hit from his saber was 761 points of damage, he was a master saber/ master defender template.

i can buy a full set of 8100+ for 650k from my local AS and i just loot the padding myself for the slicing.



to the guy with the 69 sac and 1k dps pistol .69 speed, -- your speed caps at 1 PERIOD so anything past that is inaccurate dps, i have a speed capped, damage capped sac capped pistol, anda mod dps ov 650...after a sac pup i have 46 sac...i NEVER run outa action
