I'm MBH/MR/Medic0020. I've had carbs0300 and now pistols0003. I'm thinking of changing from pistols003 to a line in CM. Should it be the offensive line CM0400 or the defensive line CM0004?
Thanks!

I'm Master BH/Master Carbs, and i took the 4000 Healing tree of CM, i can heal for roughly 1k damage, so i suggest that.
The combat line of CM, from what i've experienced, isnt worth much until you hit master because your DOT's dont really stick.

I like the idea of having the CM 0400 line with an MBH/Mrifleman. In my mind, the Mrifleman template is designed for high damage output. But this makes it a play style question. For me, being an MBH/Mrifleman was about catching my mark offguard and overwhelming their defenses either killing them in the first strike, or forcing them into a healing loop that they hopefully couldn't recover from. The offensive CM line will let you increase your DPS even further, thus helping to keep them in the healing loop. The more often they have to heal, the less often they get to attack, which allows you to continue to pressure your target.
I found that I rarely had to heal at all in the fights that I won, and if I found myself healing, I was likely going to lose anyway. The CM 4000, or CM 0004 line will allow you to stay int he fight longer, but in my mind, as a Mrifleman you don't want to fight to last very long. The only downside I see to the offensive line is the ability to actually stick the DOTs, as someone else mentioned. If you can afford the +25 to med. warfare efficiency, you will be just as capable as a MCM, but if you can't afford it, you might be frustrated with how rarely your DOTs stick.

Neither, getthe healing line......trust me, and I'm sure MCM's will agree, having just one line that's not the healing line.....ur DoT's won't stick at a consistant rate withought master.

Thisis exactly whatI was thinking. I've looted a warfare efficiency AA,it's not quite +25, but I think I can afford enough to get me there.

I've tried all the various lines and combinations I could think of.
CM 0400 - not very useful, hard to stick DOTS, DOTS not powerful enough to tip the scales, limited healing
CM 4000 - effective healing, but once you're locked into healing yourself you have probably already lost
CM 0040 - nice for the three debuff states (shock, traumatize, imp hemorrhage) - they stick reasonably well with CA's, and the shock and hem can really come in handy. Still, other than running them out of action, it's not going to put money in the bank
CM 0004 - edrain is a nice snare, t-rupture is nice but not awesome, paralyze is a lot of fun to annoy people with when you're rooted and they come over to beat you.
Now, I've changed to CM3001 for pretty effective healing and edrain, which is nice now. Snares are finally appropriately useful and not broken by burstrunning and such. I'd try this one out and see if you like it. You can always get that fourth box in the healing line if it isn't for you.
