what would be a good bh template..i have two ideas running through my head...would like some feedback please...
1. mbh/4004 doc/4004 cm (i like the idea of buffing myself but i think this template will not give me lvl 80 if that matters???)
2. mbh/mcm
i'm mbh/mrifles atm...thanks, Ceasar

That all depends on what you intend to hunt.
I'm MBH/MSmugg/0400 Pistoleer. I only hunt NPC marks, tested the build against a jedi once. It worked okay, nowhere near the power of MBH/MCM or MBM/MR though..
But it's fun, and I'm a rp'er so it awards me a lot of great rping opportunity (Bounty Hunters who can alter their own weapons = love.)
Just my two cents!

First of all, I don't imagine MBH/Doc4004/CM4004 is going to work all that well. You'll be able to heal yourself well, and apply your own buffs, as well as debuff your mark. But the big problem is you can't do any damage. You have 1 power attack, very low weapon skills, and no CM DoTs. Unfortunately this leaves you to attack your mark, then stand there healing yourself because you're not doing enough damage to kill him. Oh, and as far as I know cl doesn't matter in PvP, not being lvl 80 will only hurt you in PvE.
MBH/MCM seems to be the FotM. Gives you great healing, nice DoTs, and effective debuffs. This is usually enough to just wait your mark out and finish him off when his force gets low. This also means you need to be patient enough to engage in fights that will last an hour or longer, if you can get your mark to stay and fight.
I personally have your template at the moment, MBH/Mrifles. I like it, it fits my play style. I don't rely on healing, or out lasting the jedi. I rely on striking at the right moment, and hitting fast and hard. I front load as much damage as possible and hope I caught the jedi off guard. I've had decent success with this, but it also means I've accepted that if the fight lasts more than 5-10 minutes, I'm likely going to lose.
In the end, it really is all about your play style though. Some templates are stronger than others, but I think if you know your template anything can work. I could even see melee BHs working. I always thought it would be amusing to lead off with an ALR from 64m, critical shot them until they get close, then switch to a power hammer, kd/armor break, and beat on them up close and personal. So just find something you enjoy and run with it.
