Thread: The Investigation Line

I can't remember where I saw it, but there was some guys talking about a shortcut through the Investigtation lines. I could definetely use a shortcut, and was just wandering if anyone knew any. Another question I was wondering about is: Can faction points be converted into Skills for Investigation, like other combat xp? And another guy was talking about an arakyd droid, or something like that, what exaxtly does it do, and does it take any special skills? Lastly, is there any way to find out which planet your bounty is on without traveling from planet to planet sending out seeker droids? Thats all and thanks for the posts.

Really gotta check out the Stickies but Ill throw ya a bone

Investigation I is really nice in the city of Coronet as there is a spynet about 30m from the terminal in the center of town.. (optional) you can accept mission and talk to spynet and if the mission is too far from a shuttleport abort mission and grab another........

Continue this method until you max out your investigation xp (10,000 I believe)

Then train II

at this point you will need your Arakyd droids---after talking to spynet head out of town call Arakyd-wait for landing- talk to arakyd then proceed to Starport and wait for confirmation.....

Jump to your planet after the Droid confirms planet----check your WP and see what the closest starport or shuttle is......then launch a seeker and either shuttle or bike to the WP....your seeker will report the location of your target...at level 2 you must send another seeker out to keep track of your mark ...keep track of the direction the mark is moving and you can cut him off, as usually the mark is moving toward a Starport.......

....as you get used to this you will find you can get to your target before he starts moving across the map....

Once you reach your mark you might want to kill him

rinse and repeat

Level III investigation your seekers will have a track option which means one seeker will continue to give you updates on where your mark is......

Good luck out there---hopefully this helps

Right click on it and use the Request option.

The easy way that you heard of is slicing up-link terminals in forward outposts. It requires invest. 2 and a little skill.First off let me say that doing imp bases as a rebel is far easier than doing rebel bases, yes I tried both.NPC's at these bases are cl67 or so so get in a group with a cl80 for the damage reduction.Get camo kits for the planet you plan to do this on and you can walk untouched into the base.I used feign death from the smuggler tree if I got into combat but you can just wait until you get incapped if you want. Each slice gets you 1000 xp and it is possible to slice all 28k xp in an evening.I did mine in about 3 hours.

Aoccdrnig to a rcsheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy,it doesn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are,the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm.Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef but the wrod as a wlohe.Amzanig huh!

Pretty sure pre-cu, FPs could be converted to skill. Now I dont think you can. Besides, its just a waste of FPs and it is way easier just to train the skill yourself.
