Thread: Another BH watched me die

So I track my Mark to Dant, at one of the outposts there. When I get there he's fighting someone else, I wasnt sure at first if he was dueling for fun or if it was another BH. Either way I thought it was a good time to strike. Well shortly after I began to attack this other person just stoppedattacking andwatched as the Jedi concentrated on me. Well I lost and got deathblowed and then the other person starting attacking the Jedi again. As it turns out it was in fact another Bounty Hunter. Well a short time later she got killed also. So I sent her a tell asking why she didnt help me and that we both could have taken him together. Her response was she didn't opperate that way and wouldnt want someone to do that to her. So thanks to her weird sence of chivalry we both ended up in the cloner.

obviously she doesn't know how to act like a bounty hunter lol. I would have helped you

yeah another jedi alt
if they didnt want that in the game, they would only let 1 BH have 1 jedis mission at one time

I have seen and done this myself. When I roll up to an engagement and another BH is there prior, I will watch and see what happens. If it's obvious that another is stalking, I will offer my aid, and a split on the bounty. If they say "no, I've got this", then I will watch.
My sense of honor is that if another hunter beats me to the mark, then it's their unless they "allow" me to help out.
On the other hand... she may have been waiting for you to incap the Jedi so she could get an easy deathblow, or may have been waiting for you to die, and knowing that you would have depleated the Jedi's force, and make her job easier.
What you didn't do, was ask the BH about co-opting the fight prior to you jumping in. That may have been your mistake there.

I showed up to my mark once to find him fighting another hunter. I shot an /invite to the other hunter and it was declined. The fellow hunter ran off, hoped on bike and proceeded to speed off. The Jedi's friend says "Well atleast (insert forgotten hunters name here) did what was right". I drain the jedi of force and he gets me in a close fight. No sooner had he db'd me than my "fellow" hunter can speeding back and made quick work of the Jedi. If its any indictation how close I was the Jedi started using a ranged weapon cuz he didn't even have the force to swing the saber.
You would think if group hunting gone, there would be even more "brotherhood" among BH's than ever before.

i have had same problem but i got tells saying this is my mark etc etc but i got killed and i think the other bh just dropped there mission
Also when i first did jedi missions me and another BH took down one jedi working together
i wasnt bothered about cash just the fun of it lol
If i was there i would have teamed up with you

Waiting in the dark corner for an enemy bh to most of the work for you is actually a really good tactic lol. it might be mean and sneaky but hey we're scum

im not really that bad if u get to know me. each hunter hunts 4 a diff reason.

I do this alot. If I come onto my target and another BHunter is fighting the jedi I sit back and watch. Its their baby..until the jedi has the BHunterincapped or is about to iswhen then I jump in to save the other BH a trip to the cloners. Afterwards I always split the earnings and EVERYONE that I have done this towas grateful for not going to the cloners and getting some creds outta it.

as is each jedi, but no one cares to get to know them. 
This is why there should be a optional Bh vs BH TEF
