I just read a post about a MBH / Jedi character template so i know it is possible...but not knowing that much about the Jedi skills and Tiers, i was wondering how effective it would be in PvP and/or PvE. I am trying to decide whether or not it will be worth the waste of skill points in Force Sensitive or not to try. Thanx in advance

P.S. --> I realize the irony in being a MBH/Jedi...please just honest helpful post. Thanx again

.......if u go jedi, you want to be ONLY jedi. If youre not, its called a Hybrid template. They usually suck, but not all the time. Teras Kasi w/ jedi works well.

I had my main character go jedi and have done the hybrid bh/jedi thing. Right now he has MBH/4000 healing/4000 enhancer/0430 powers. It's pretty fun, and throws the jedi off. The problem is that my dps is way too low to fight "fair" and win, so I really have to rely on my surprise attack with cloak. I really wanted to get force armor 2, but thought with such low force to start, it would just be a waste.

I was a jedi/rifleman for long time. I believe i was Rifleman 4-4-0-3, healer 2-0-0-0, enhancer 0-0-0-2 and Master Defender. It was very nice template imo. I only changed to all jedi skills after i heard they were gonna make it where u cant use force powers with regular weapon. I lost only twice to a bh and it was my fault. I kicked the crap outta alot of bhs. Surprised alot of them when they came for me and i whipped out the adv laser rifle on them. I almost want to go back to that temp again. Against other jedi, didnt do too well. But regular players i really didnt have much problems with them at all.

As weak as our sabers are now, id recommend aa hybrid. Jedi is not as strong as what it used to be

Id recommend hybrid over full jedi temp at this point until they fix pearls/crystals.

Master BH and Master Defender is a great combo. While naked you have +7000 armor and 355/350 Melee/Ranged defense. Plus you can do a lot more damage with an ALR than you can with a LS.

The only downside is that you can't use any Force powers while wielding a weapon. I used to unequip my weapon and hit AI when I got into trouble. You know how ticked off a Jedi gets when you attack him naked and then hit AI when you start to lose? Believe me, the last thing a Jedi expects his BH to do is AI...

Also, the heals at novice medic really stink but with some stims and RB you can really supplement it. But with 7000 armor and defenses of almost 400 with clothing you won't be taking much damage...

can not use jedi powers with anything other than a ls or open hand as of last patch.

you've been nerfed.

besides, you would just be throwing away sp to do that.
