Thread: missing marks? But I get payed!

This happened three times in the last few days. I gey about half way between my mark and the starport and I get mission complete and I get payed 30k or so. But I have never made it to the waypoint to kill the guy. So who's killing them. One mission each on Yavin and Dath so I'm thinking maybe my mark was a victum of the wildlife. The last one was on Talus not really much wild there. I'm unsure but I thought that marks were only attackable by the bounty hunter with the mission and not even group members.

i took a few missions over lunch and on one mission it was a city on corellia. This happens all the time having a mark in the city but when i got to the mark, he was running all over the place and a few imp trooper NPCs were chasing him and doing a pretty good job. I instantly jumped in took over the fight which was short becuase of the damage he had already taken.
This may have happened to you, and the mark got killed

Marks are unattackable by other players in the sense that other players don't have first-strike attacking ability but if the mark attacks a player, the player gets a TEF can fight back. You lose the TEF on incap by the way. It mostly happens to factionally aligned players, but I've heard of the same thing happening to Jedi.

Happened to me the other day ...... i was looking for mark at an outpost and he was nowhere to be found. Then he just popped in and started attacking some other player who naturally retaliated. I jumped in but couldnt loot...........i just know he had some of the greatest loot......lol
