heya, I am noticinf a slew of these 'evaluate my template' questions and they all seem to be either Bh pistols + master pistoleer + smuggler pistols OR Invest III and TKM.

Now, I don't want to be a cookie cutter BH and I want to try and stay away from these templates, so here is my question. What an I best off taking with my Master rifleman skills, or should I drop it and start going carbines or pistols?

Unless you have a legendary t21 rifle, rifleman bh will be pretty dicey if youtargetJedi with master lightsaber (generally 150k or higher payouts), and those missions are snatched up by every 3xxx bh as soon as they see them.

With a jedi's ability to heal all pools, all states, etc. I would recommend approaching jedi missions as less of a 'kill them in three hits' situation and more of an 'outlast them and make them use up their precious force pool' situation.

This will require you to take the proper steps with regards to equipment:

-the absolute best pistol combination you can find. Torso Shot DoT+health bleed(even minimal)+Health Poison DoT pistol combination puts some serious pressure on the health bar, and health, poison, bleed, and fire (if they have master healer) heals all contribute to your primary focus: get the jedi out of force so they start channeling

-ls resist psg, sliced for effectiveness is a plus, with anti decay kit applied

-dmg reducing foods (steak, then exo-protein wafers once the steak is gone)

and the standard pvp foods:

-thakitillo

-brandy

...to template:

-Novice brawler is a huge help. Keep them intimidated to soak more of their damage, and you have warcry if you need a few seconds to get a heal in.

-Pistoleer has excellent defenses against the kd/saber throw spamming majority of the Jedi playerbase. Dizzy, Sstun, Blind all get a little love from the Pistol Tech line, and you get nice Dodge if you climb all the way to master Pistoleer.

-2040 Medic will let you heal bleeds(not 100% necessary, but helpful) and heal like a champ if you have good stims. I use 1100 power stims and can keep my ham full if i play it smart as far as using the dmg reducing techniques available to me.

I've had nice success using the above, killing two 221k knights solo so far by simply staying on my feet and outlasting them. By the time they run out of force they have 1k health wounds, not enough force to heal their pools fully, and enough battle fatigue that the shots I do get past their saber block hurt like a mutha on the force bars they themselves are shrinking by channeling to get force back.

Jedi with an excellent 1h saber can get around your ability to heal well, but if you carry good canape on you, use muon gold, and stick with the intimidate+exo-protein wafer dmg reduction plan you can outlast them.

Master Defender/Master Powers/Lightsaber 0404

Is this a good template? What is good about it? What is wrong with it?
