Thread: seriously MBH/MTK

reason 1. innate armour ( thses MTK are supposed to be the ultimate tanks cause of thier innate armour)


2. Power Boost +500 to your health


3.COB


4. no more spending on armour save for a better weapon, droids, food , enhancers ,etc...


5. less noticable to a jedi (jedi's look for people dressed in comp or full suits of armour when they get into range if your running around in plain clothes less attention you will draw).


any thouhgts to why this would not work?

You'd be lacking a bit in the accuracy/speed department, and your melee damage output would be low. A bit better with Knuckles of Katarn, though. CoB doesn't work with a ranged weapon, and duelist stance doesn't work with a melee weapon. You might want to check whether TK armor works with a ranged weapon equipped.


You're right about having a bit more in the element of surprise. I'd be interested as to whether this is a viable combination, but my guess would be no.

well i know the innate armor deal works with anything but armour regardless if you have a melee or ranged weapon.


As far as melle damage output they only think i would use tka for is the innate armour and powerboost,


I did not know that CoB would not work if you had a ranged weapom equiped duelist stance is fine cause i would be useing a ranged weapon never a melee.

and after you hit the jedi for next to nothing damage and he starts to wail on you... how do you plan to stay alive?

I have this temp and it works good against full template jedi, I have a hard time with padys cuz they run and I can’t root them. The confusion aspect of this template is very powerful


Jedi like to root me, but I just switch to melee and a hit my COB. They jedi will then follow up with a KD (witch fails most of the time cuz I am a TKM) then I will KD them 80% of the time on the first try. Reequip my scattergun and run. By the time the jedi recovers I have shot them 1 or 2 times and put 30m between them and me. This tends to continue for about 5-10 min before the jedi runs out of force and runs (rooting BHcost alot of force).


I don’t have much accuracy or speed issues, do to my skills I got form the village and the fact that I don’t ware armor means I can ware lots of clothing loaded up with CA’s.


The down side to my template is that I am a tank not a killer, I can stand up to Jedi but cant finish them off cuz I have no way of stopping them from running

Even with tons of defenses you will not mitigate much damage through melee defense... Min and max damage on a saber is seperated by 100 damage.

I can see you lasting longer when you die. but i think a full ranged temp will win more. Just imho

I agree. pre cu was one thing, but TKM just doesnt have the dps anymore.

Are you saying that a TKM had good DPS post-cu? lol
As a Master Defender pre-cu I dont think a BH/TKM actually were able to beat my regen rates .
