Does any one have a slick way to get bomb droids out quickly and use them effciently? I have a crate full of these things and haven't touched them since CU.

I've also been wondering this.

Is there a way to remote trigger the bomb droid without clicking on it and using the radial menu?

As far as pulling the droid out, I don't think there is a way to do it (droids didn't USED to be pull-able from the toolbar), but after you go into inv and pull one you the following might work....

Have the droids named "bomb" any droid name will work though

/tar "bh mark name"

/tellpet (command for follow target)

/pause 2 (whatever time)

/tellpet /det

Not sure if this will work though, I'm away from the game, and not that familiar with the commands without the game being open.

Call your droid.

Target your mark.

Type (or use a macro) /tellp your_pets_follow_other_command

Type (or use a macro) /detonate (your_pets_name_here_and_include_the_parenthesis)

I recommend that you Disarm Shot (if you have it) or Knockdown (if you have it) your mark before you use the detonation command as the command will make your droid attackable if it wasn't originally.

I love these lil guys....Knockdown is great for increasing the damage as well.

Let me guess, I picked out yet another colorful mission with a jedi that I'm expected to shoot and shoot until OOP! big shock, the jedi falls down and dies and my kids laugh and the dog laughs and I die a little inside

Also keep some in deed form in your invintory. you can then ready these while in combat so fight for 5 mins ready droid give it 30 seconds or so to do whateverit needs to do to get ready takes about 30 secs before you can detonate then while fighting droid is following you around tell it to detonate and get a kd in. got a few jedi this way Bombs come usually at the start but a great asset in the middle of a fight to turn the tide.
