I think they should. Why? Because you are helping the Empire in killing jedi. No matter what the faction of the jedi, the Emporer wanted them DEAD.
if faction points should be granted for BHing at all i would say that an imperial Jedi slain should = rebel faction points and vice versa.
Realistically though, faction points wont be given because this give the BH and edge over all other professions in attaining faction points.

This is what the Empire thinks of bounty hunters as they were first described in Empire Strikes Back:
"Bounty hunters! Among the most reviled of the galaxy's inhabitants, this class of amoral money-grubbers included members of every species. It was a repellent occupation, and it often attracted repellent creatures to its fold. Some of these creatures had been summoned by Darth Vader and now stood before him on the bridge of his Imperial Star Destroyer." At least they got this part right in SWG.
The official Imperial opinion of bounty hunters- "We don't need their scum around here."
In this time period bounty hunting is not officially sanctioned. Bounty hunters are not Imperial employees and have no official standing with the Empire. They were not hired by the Imperial administrationas a part of their war against the Rebellion. They were hired specifically by Lord Vader for the task of capturing the Millenium Falcon. This is their commission in Lord Vaders words:
"There will be a substantial reward for the one who finds the Millenium Falcon. You are free to use any methods necessary, but I want proof. No disintegrations."
While the Empire had little need or tolerance for bounty hunters and their unlawful ways, they were employed by crime syndicates (so named because theyperform criminal acts)for dirty tasks that were suitable for morally devoid fortune seekers. The first bounty hunter was merely a punk, a Rodian named Greedo (appropriately enough) who was hired not by the Empire but rather by Jabba the Hutt in order to punish Han Solo. Later, Boba Fett appeared who was Jabba's henchman, not Vaders. Fett astutely doubled his earnings by temporarily working for Vader on essentially the same task and claimed his reward, Han Solo, when he was frozen in carbonite.

Coulnd't have said it better myself. Besides if that was the case then it should give Reb FP for when a Reb factioned BH killed an Imp factioned Jedi too. Otherwise almost all BHers would be Imp or Nuet...

we should get something special for kills though...maybe a respect sort of thing we could trade at jabbas palace or a bounty hunter guild thing for like, decoration, extra cash, special pups, etc. Not Weapons and armour though...would just make it something more desirable. maybe recieve like a point per skill point the jedi has invested in jedi skills, for 500 you can trade it in for a pup that adds 50% damage, or takes off 50% SAC with no ill effects....etc. i dunno.

Cause u don't have the time to wait for Solo to undock and drift away with the trash from the ISD and then follow ur mark to his location based on the hyperspace vector
