Not true. I've had this bug happen to me when i only hit the kd recovery button once. There is a way to get this almost every time, and if you are doing it on purpose, then that is called exploiting. Anybody who purposefully uses exploits deserves to be kicked from the game, both Jedi and BH.
This is a bug that's been plaguing jedi since the CU came out. I guess our disease has finally spread to other professions.
Don't know why it happens, but eventually it clears itself after a few seconds. Just don't keep hitting the knockdown recovery key over and over. hit it once ever 2 seconds, and you should be able to get up.
1: kdr is being spammed,
2 you hit a special the same time you got knockdowned, this causes the "cannot kdr while kd" message untill that special's timer resets,
3: a combination of a few different abilities is able to force this state as well. (both on jedi and Bh's side are able to do)
This bug is due to the jedi kd spam from what I have read. It really sucks when you are fighting a jedi and then cant get up and they just whip up on you while your on your back.
One way to keep this from happening is this. This is not a 100% fix but it works alot of the time.
Auto attack your KD recovery.
If you find yourself knocked down and you dont pop back up press an attack like critical shot or something else. It should spring you back to your feet. This is the only work around to this bug. It mostly happens when fighting MLS who have KD on saber throw.
