Thanks, I'll get on it tonight. ShouldI stick to pistols or switch to carbines?

Catch em unprepared, if you find em buffed and standing in a starport you will have a nigh impossible time killing em'. If you find them fighting rancors and low on health then your chances for success are greatly increased.

I'd say it's more about tactics and judgement than anything else. Had a MBH come at me this morning with three others, two of which I know were ranged. Not sure about the other guy. Anyway, I strung em out and took the MBH by herself. One of the three others rolled up right as I was dismember the poor BH and wisely decided not to attack even though he was a master Pistoleer holding one of them new pistols. The other two rolled up shortly after. I asked if they were going to attack and they went about their business.

You see from my perspective if they had stuck together as a group they probably would have won. Particularly if one of them had been a melee tank. But they used bad tactics and judgement, even though I know they had some fine weapons. Don't lose your head in a fight. Know when to use foods, and what you should use and when. Doing all this you'll come out ahead more often then not.

[edit] Another example is a lone BH that came after me about an hour ago. He started off with some FKD with his carbine, then switched to his scythe when I lit into him with dervish2. Interesting mix, BH and Swordsman... anyway, when he saw he wasn't doing jack for damage with his head hits he switched to some double bladed axe with a mind disease DOT. LOL, yeah.. disease. Anyway, that's another example of using the wrong tactics and it causing your demise. FIrst of all he should have known something was up when I was just standing there waiting for him. Second of all why the heck would you open up with a FKD knowing that I was waiting on you, and knowing the level I am (you choose the mission so you know). Third of all, why the heck did he come alone? Weapons weren't the issue in this fight either. It was piss poor tactics and underestimating the opponent.

I have been an MBH for awhile but all I ever did was NPC missions. I finally mastered CM and decided to find a Jedi to test my new skills on. I picked the cheapest reb jedi mission and my droid found him on Dant, good I hate wookie world. I shuttle to the nearest sp and hop my speeder for the rest. I have no illusions, i figure i'll get capped as a n00b jedi hunter, but what the heck. I get out to him and his all jedi grinding group, store the speeder and attack. Forgetting everything i was taught by my guild mates I stand flat footed and he killd me in maybe 90 sec. One of the jedi's grinding with him is a guild mate of mine and offers to log on his BH and take out the jedi for me. I was about to say forget it when the jerk opens his mouth and states that he loves killing my guilds BH's. Im hot, i go from the cloner back to Kadaara get his mission and hunt him again. I find him and the battle begins. About 2 minutes into it another of my guilds BH's joins me with this jedi's mission too, together we battle for 30 minutes to bring this guy down, alternating between CM and BH moves. Finally he gives up and as he LD's I get DB on him. That moment was made sweeter when later on that night there was a PvP battle in Moenia with him on the opposite side, yup, DB'd him there too. A good night, alot of lessons learned.

How'd you double team? I'd like to learn that skill.

Anyway, don't worry. You'll lose your first few matches, but you'll learn how to play it eventually. You can never win them all.

It was last night, 15Aug05, took the first reb mission both times. I don't know how my guild mate got the same mission. AND, i wouldn't have gone back after the jerk had he not been a rude child. My guildmate jumped in on the fight of her own volition with no SOS sent.

hey, I'm all for that. If a Jedi is rude it's definitely within your parameters to try to get him again. I know I would.
