That would seem to make the doctors medical knowledge line a bit of a waste of time (except to go for master doc of course.)

Thanks again for your advice Elenora. I will train up as an artisan tonight and see how I go.

no anything above enhance A buffs require more med use...

Stim E require mroe than novice med use...

Wound D requires more med use...

there are alot of higher level packs that require more med use..

revive is just 1 of the lower ones...

and actually its not that great overall..considering people in beta were buffing people with +2500 action and health with the top enhance packs...

no need for revive with that much health lol

I'm going Master CM, Master Wound Treatment, Master Doctor Medicine Crafting, Pistol Specialist, Survey 3, and Business 3.

Want to be able to place a vendor for my kits and find those ever elusive materials. Since Master Wound Treatment is required to use the Rez kit, I'm there... and since I can use it.. I guess I need to be able to make it too.

I am about to get master medic and I am not too far off the ranged support marksman line. I plan to make a Master Doctor, Master Combat medic pistol specialist.

What I want to know is, which discipline (CM or Doc) do you think I should train in first and why? Or would you try to level both consecutively?

Doc for the uberheals, buffs, rez, CM for the AoE heals, poisons, ranged heals?

I heard CM's were bugged so I thought I would do Doctor first, but I am so fed up running around to get into healing range (and my legs hurt too damnit) I just dont know and need help!

i had your template and my one warning is...

no survey? how u gonna get resources? and if you are going CM how are you gonna get the variety of resources u need? harvesters? fine, but when resources shift every other day..how u gonna find new veins to harvest on? no artisan means u canteven use a survey tool...

Now back to the topic...

Mastering Doctor and CM at the same time is very difficult. Since they both pull from the same pool. You'll be effectlively spliting up the xp you have...

My template is master CM/Doctor wound treatment IV and crafting 4/pistol specialist/survey 4

I started by working the wound treatment line until i got 4 and the doc crafting line until i got 2 and wound pack C...Now im back to working my CM lines./..my crafting xp is going into the CM line until i get CM 2 which will let me make ranged C and poison Bs....this will let me PvP with mediocre poisons and nice solid ranged stims...after than I will concentrate on getting doc crafting 4 for revive packs...all my med xp is being dumped into CM lines...

Getting treatment IV and wound 4 will let u heal huge wounds and this can be a pretty solid way to xp as well...xp which can then be used to raise CM skills...

hope that helps

Some very good advice, thanks Elenora. I admit I have never got any artisan skills, never even trained in the profession.

The only thing that worries me is that the combat medic support line adds to Combat medicine use, while the Doctors Medicine knowledge line just adds to medicine use. These skills determine how high the level of meds you can use are. If you neglect to train in Medicine use, and just get "combat" medicine use, can you still use revive? You will be effectively 35 points of medicine use down.

You can save 12 skill points by not bothering with the doc crafting, just get a friendly master doc to make some res kits for you

I've been hunting (solo)on Corellia for a while now. At the moment, I'm camped between a Humababa camp and a Rogue Bagaraset camp. The Humababas are kind of tough (yellow), but its nothing an Intimidate+Bezerk can't handle...another strategy is to spam 2Hand Hit2, but it drains your Action pool.

I'm getting 494xp on the Rogue Bagarasets and 960 on the Humababas.

Its tough to find a good camp, I've found some north and south of Coronet and right now I'm west of Bela Vista.

Good luck

Thanks Devla for the feed back. Had a good time last night with a group on LOK. I was getting pretty good exp. I know this is kinda a solo profession but its nice to break the routine every so often and hang with some people.

Btw do you use any armor and if so what type. I have been trying out different kinds and it seems the best is to not have it on for normal fights and use it when your fighting the big stuff.

Elenora, yes the trading of schematics is bugged right now. A couple guys in my PAhave a work around solution - they have been dropping them directly into the schematic slot in the factory. It seems like one ofthe fewuseful waysadmins (non owners) can interact with a factory right now. Haven't tried this myself, but I hear it over our teamspeak channel every now and then.

Hope this helps.
