Thread: Looking for a Partner BH
This post would probably better serve you on your server forum. (C;
I wasn't aware that 2 BH's could attack the same mark if they didn't have the same mission. Obviously, this is PvE so no Jedi considerations here.
Can 2 grouped BH's attack a boss mark together? Or is this a situation where the 2nd BH helps via healing the other?

They can only heal each other....

It must have attacked him first. They will do that, especially if you are overt or even covert. I had another guy's mark attack me once in MosE when I was just walking by, LOL.
As for grouping, I see this question a lot. Another BH cannot group with you and then initiate an attack on the mark. You can bring someone along to heal you, but if you're going to do that why choose a BH, unless maybe they are MCM too? One of my friends who is Mdoc/Mrifles came with me once, and it helped.
Now, if you bring a friend with you and the mark attacks them, then your friend can return fire. This happened with my doc friend. She was healing me and got AOEd by the mark, and after that she was able to return fire.
So, yes, it's helpful to bring someone along, and they do not need to be a BH.

I think they want someone who is also a BH so they can rotate missions, so each of them will be pulling an equivalent number of credits per mission, and each will have an equal opportunity for getting BH mark loots, something a non-BH would not be getting.
I figure I'll contribute what I can.
I was attacked by another Hunters elite mark while traveling between Mos Eisley starport and the cantina. I thought it was something new for BH. Anyways, after taking a few shots against me, I played the kiting game whilst ingesting some foods knowingthat I couldn't armor up in combat. Turns out that the Hunter player shows up and helps with the kill and says that I stole his mark. I apologize profusely and pay him 40k credits to cover the mish and try to give him the power crystal that he couldn't loot.
Weird stuff and only slightly on topic, I know.
/bug-ed it and moved on

Sure I got that, but it could just as easily be a healer. You could tip them, and pay them half the value of the loot, or whatever you agree is a fair split (you did grind MBH, pay for the droids, food, etc.). As long as you trust each other that shouldn't be a problem.
I would rather bring along a healer I knew and trusted than a BH I didn't.
