So, I thought I'll see what these new mission payouts are like and I jump over to a BH term.
Pick a low mission - not actually gonna fight it, just wanted a look.
So, he's on Dantooine and I shuttle out there, and head to the location.
He's in a house, but there's people milling around - sign of activity.
I fly around a bit and come back - after releasing another seeker.
Suddenly, he's in the cantina - life!
So, I head to nearby venders and pretend to shop.
I suddenly notice a purple dot (yup...same faction) appear in the cantina.
So, I run out and target it - it's my mark.
his tag?
Master Bounty Hunter.
Nice irony there...
Look at his profile - I'd guess 31-32 professions.
So, I decide just to see how long it is before he emerges, but I've been rumbled - a guildmate greeted me, and before i responded, flew off.
So, I head to a distance and watch him running round the cantina via /exam
Next, another guildmate comes up
him: "if you're looking for [jedi], he's long gone"
me: no's not, I'm watching him (he was running around the cantina
him: he's gone
me: doesn't matter, not gonna fight
me: unbuffed.
I mean, I was obviously unbuffed and would have stood no chance against anything (no armour on either), yet he had a friend run out to try and scare me off...

I wonder if you can get a contract on yourself?
How would you collect?

That was weird heh. But too many people make the mistake tothink thatthe bountyhunter professionhas a connection withthe Jedi one. That's a mistake. They are people, criminals with a given profession, nothing more.

Yes you can take your own jedi mission. Have a fellow guildie that did that. Don't think he tried to collect on it, just a theory to see if it could be done.

Out hunting on dantooine. Along comes a purple dot. Stops 75m away. Give the warning in group chat of possible BH. Finish the bol I was working on, walk over and greet him. Wearing his wonderful Paddy robes (almost a good trick, though already done.), we strike up a conversation. I can tell hes not here to hunt, I use find friend, and the waypoint comes up. So now I assume he's here for me, I ask if we are going to fight or not. He says, I'm just watching, along comes a second purple dot, I suspect gank.........
Instead, the second BH jumps off his speeder and opens fire onthe Jedi/BH that was there for me. As I probably would do in his place, already having me targeted, he attacks me. Opening me up to help the BH that has just come for him.
Gave me a good laugh, just thought I would share it with you all..
What I do wonder tho, since he started his mission on me, and died, not by my DB, does he both lose the xp from the BH that killed him, and fail my mission?
I thought it was all ironic.

I had a bad link in there after I edited the message. It's fixed. The irony is the little white text over the Jedi's saber.

lol yeh thats what i noticed when i saw the screeny, i have submitted so many good screenies and ones like these get shown....yeash

Kind of typical.
As a MLS I do seem to miss quite a bit. And the misses tend to come on the armor breaks, the power attacks right after knockdowns,special moments like that.
