Thread: 75% Armor Break Reduction? Is it buggy and not work sometimes?

And with 75% armor break reduction on my armor, I took 1000-1500 points of damage with my armor doing nothing. Now my understanding of armor break reduction, reduces the amount of damage the armor break would effect me normally.
It's a 75% chance of the armor break failing to break the armor, not a reduction in total damage. If you mean you have cybernetics when you say range arms, that's probably where the damage is coming from.
When a jedi hits me for 1500points of dam, armor break reduction can't be working. I mean most of my fights the avg hit is 500points damage on to me from jedi. I sent a bug report, I just wonder if anyone else notice this or if it's a known issue or I just don't understand how it actually works. thx

I'd get rid of those cybernetic arms if i were you, they create armour holes, and specific moves do hit in specific places, such as body hit which hits the arms/chest I believe which is proven by the amount of damage you took. The arms are only good for taking out turrets really,
cyvernetic arm = armor hole
some specials are more likely to hit certain parts, I'd imagine bodyhit being more likely to hit you upper parts, chest/arms
range arm are completely useless is you don't stay out of range of the jedi btw....
and ffs people PLEASE sto saying AB is a 75% reduction in chance to get AB'd

not even worth to say, I reported it as a bug, so if it is one soe will fix it maybe one day.

I get this too....I wear a full suit of ris (minus gloves and boots) all AB sliced and with 6500 energy/kinetic protection and still get hit for 1500 dam - my armor isn't doing much at all, my TKM has less melee defence (both toons have improved cob) and is meant to have no AB protection and only 6000 protection innate but the TKM gets hit for approx 200 where my other toon gets hit for 1500
Something in the armor obviously isn't working right
