Bounty Hunter Archive

I'm just wondering because I followed a Jedi, who was cloaked the entire time, across a few planets, and after a while more bounty hunters with his mission began showing up. I was wondering if me being around him gave him more vis. And if it did, isn't that kinda stupid since vis means visiblilty and being cloaked negates that? Just wondering.
