I keep reading that the devs do not want to give us creatures with Medium or higher armor, recently that Graul Maulers are almost extinct (have searched high and low on Dath or Dant and still to this day only seen 2 Graul Maulers and 1 Mauler Lair - no babies).

But yet anyone in the Imperial Army can purchase a Heavy Armor, 70 percent resist to all except stun which is 100 percent, 125 CL faction pet with a 1250 pt range attack and hit ratio of 55. And I hear they can call out three of them, but only seen two out at once from one owner at a time so far.

Granted you can not heal them, but then again you just have to accumulate pts and BUY them instead of search all over the place in hopes of a baby to tame. That is if there is not another person around that will attack the baby while you tame it or try and steal it from you before you can get to it. Not to mention that you can use them in conjunction with Creater Handler pets.

So what is the big stink over medium armor if every Imperial and their brother have an AT-ST, or a few stashed in their back pocket?

If someone can bring logical insight to my question I would apprehicate it

This is just another stupid anti-AT-ST ranting.
The reason why pets dont have Medium/Heavy armor is tanking-abuse.

Sounds more like a logical question regarding why we have no medium armor babys to tame even at a Master level when any Tom, D*ick, or harry that grind faction can *tame* and AT-ST.

Although I don't think we should have pets with tame babies with medium armor, I do think there should be an overall pet cap. I don't mind seeing an Imperial with an AT-ST (I'm Rebel BTW), even though they should be ridding in it, not having it follow them around. What I do mind is seeing an Imperial with three AT-STs, and two Graul Maulers running around (I've seen this twice). That's a one man super army right there! I think something needs to be done more about that than worry about us taking out 275 levels worth of pets.

Whoa I'm tired. I meant to see in that first sentence:

Although I don't think we should be able to tame babies with medium armor...

CL 70, Make some mean mobs spawn babys. We can have one out at a time, say Webmasters, Add in a buffed up Kwis, the Quenker line had some nice adults (Relic Reapers) buff those and make them CL70 etc..

Don't have a **edit** thing against those that grinded away to get their AT-ST(s). Just trying to find the logic in why the devs give such a powerful pet to those that can just grind away at faction and go and buy when the Creature Handler profession only has the chance to get a pet with 'light' armor and CL of 70.

Perhaps faction pets are something complete different scale than CH pets, just trying to gain a bit of insight as to why a pet with heavy armor is okay for one group of people but not anyone else. I am not even asking the Dev's for it just want to know what the big stink is about CH having pets with medium armor.

As for Tanking - Abuse? I have seen AT-ST's tank just as well as other pets, with 11K HAM (last I seen) it does just as fine as any other pet.

Maybe they did it for balance between the factions, since Rebel is the more populated?

I don't post much and really only visit the forums to see if there are any new bugs or advice on BH professionand to see what new features are coming up in the next publish. I've been a BH for awhile and I find it funny to read posts in both the BH forums and the Jedi forums.

Too all the Bounty Hunters who cry because they can't seem to kill there Jedi mark or that there Jedi runs away and hides from them. PLEASE quit the profession and go be a entertainer or crafter. You guys make it extreamly hard for any productive input in these forums because 90% of all the posts are you guys crying like little @itchs. If your to dumb to figure out that there are different ways to kill a mark (such as tweaking your templete to compesate for new stuff)and that sometimes it takes several hours to hunt them down (likecamping outside of there houses waiting for them to come out)then this profession is not for you. You can not expect to be paid 300k for few mins of work. Sure sometimes you get lucky and take out the mark fast, but if the Jedi has any PvP skills or knows he's outmatched and runs away this will not be the case. Just something you have to accept. If you can't then leave the profession.

Be nice if SOE could setup some forums that only vetren BH's could access. That way we wouldnt have to listen to all these ""I've been a BH for 2 days and all the jedi are over powerful and cheat"" posts...

though I dont entirely agree with your wording there are alot of complaints here on the BH forums, cloak, force run, MDef, alot want balance, some want an "I win button", however, there will always be whiners unfortuantely. And the jedi forums.... are even worse.

Thats the biggest problem, people think the BH professions should be balanced with the Jedi profession. It's not suppose to be balanced. If your going to be a BH, you needcapped weapons andcapped Armor, If you dont have these basic twothings your not going to have much of a chanceunless you catch them AFK. My view of the BH profession is that it was created for PvP'ers who wanted a challange.

To many people on here want to be able to take a Jedi head on in combat. If they do this they should get owned. Given we definatly could use more stealth tools in hunting are prey, but I think the new Ranger Prfoession will address that.

As far as jedi, i can understand some of the new jedi's frustration with weak lightsabers. All the pre-cu have better lightsabers, but then again the pre-cu jedi had a grind that was A LOT harder. I think so many jedi were crying of the hard grind that they made a compromise and made the grind easier but at the same time madethe newjediweaker overall by limiting there lightsaber damage. Thats what happens when you whine all the time. Although I think jedi will get a bump in power after the Obi-Wan expansion comes out.

Bottom line is the Bounty Hunter Profession is not for newb PvP'ers. I wish these newb's would understand this and not bother going BH until they get more experience in PvP. The same can be said with all the new jedi who whine about being forced in to PvP. Jedi is a PvP profession PERIOD. You know this going in. If you can't hack it then play with your free toon that you get (which by the way no other profession gets). To make this more clear I wish SOE would put in big letters next to Bounty Hunter Profession (Advance PvP profession). Although I doubt it would really help, look at the Jedi profession, everyone knows what the pro's and con's are of that profession but you stillget these guys who grind it out then call for Nerf's to makethe professionsuit there play style.
