To The Developers of Star Wars Galaxies,

I am a veteran player of Star Wars Galaxies. Contrary to Public Opinion I loved The Combat Upgrade and Episode III: Rage of The Wookies. I have an idea for another expansion you should look over. I received many complements from CSR’s, my guild friends, and other players on this idea. One of the complements I received was “Great going...dang u must join the development team ” That complement was said by CSR-JoviG, my favorite CSR. The Chat Logs of my conversation were saved, and I was given a link in which to contact you.

Onto my idea for the expansion, it involves including Kamino and much more. The Expansions name would be Star Wars Galaxies: Legacy of Jango. The expansion would add the planet Kamino to the game as well as three new playable species. These species will be:Kaminoian, The species of which Kit Fisto belongs to, and The squid-people who appear many times in the Jedi Academy game. Please beg my pardon for not knowing the names of the species Kit Fisto belongs to, and the name of the squid species.

Along with the new expansion, underwater combat will be introduced. Underwater combat will be very engaging. It will work very much like the current space system. A player goes to an “Ocean fleet” trainer for their faction. He receives a submarine. Combat works similar to the space system. As a players skills progress, he upgrades and gets better submarines. Not only will you fight other submarines, but you will also be able to fight large fish similar to the ones from Star Wars: Episode 1. Mon Calamari, The Kit Fisto type species, and the squid-type species will all receive positive skill modifiers to submarine combat or crafting. The rewards to underwater combat will be credits, fun, and faction points. Unlike space(which I suggest you do not change to reflect faction points) a player receives faction upon a kill. If he shoots down an imperial sub he gets rebel points if he is rebel and vice/versa. This also applies to NPC factions such as Hutts and Valarians. Privateers will gain faction upon shooting down a sub of any faction. Players will also lose faction for the side of the sub they shot down. Submarine pilots are perma combatant underwater. To turn Overt underwater, see an “underwater research station” for your side. Two planets will contain underwater parts, Kamino and Naboo. Submarine Pilot will not require skill points.

Now onto the ground part of the expansion, Bio-engineer will have cloning abilities added onto it. Kaminoians will have positive cloning mods. During the cloning process, a bio-engineer will be referred to as the cloner. There is a cloning facility on Kamino to clone. In order to clone, a clonie(i.e Jango Fett was a clonie) will enter the cloning facility. A bio-engineer, using tissues he has gathered(any type of tissues will do, cloning should not be a rare process) will clone the clonie. He will begin by using a Dna extraction tool on the clonie. Then the cloner will clone the clonie using a cloning tank(found within the cloning facility) as his crafting tool.

Clones will work using the following rules. When a clonie is not level 80, his clone will come out ten levels lower than him. When a clonie is level 80 the cloner can choose to make the clone any level between one and seventy. The clone is cloned with toned down, weaker versions of the clonies weapons and armor that the clonie had equipped when cloned. The weapons and armor will look the same. A clone’s name will be the same name as the clonies, except it will be in all capital letters. To explain, If Mse Aviator were to have a clone of him made, then his clone’s name would be MSE AVIATOR. A clone has 3 special ability slots. These abilities are chosen out of the clonies total abilities. To explain, If a bounty hunter/carbineer/medic was cloned, the cloner might choose advanced critical shot, advanced rapid fire, and bacta shot to be the clone’s abilities. A clone functions as a NPC pet. Only a Master Creature handler can train and handle a clone. Multiple clones can be made of the same person, but not at the same time. A clone will not perma die like a factional pet does.

We cannot have creature handlers running around with clones of jedi though. It will be impossible for a jedi to have a clone. Therefore, I have come up with the genetic memory system. Genetic memory can be applied to anyone, but should mostly be used on jedi. In order to clone a jedi, a cloner activate gentic memory on the jedi. After that, the jedi can temporarily equip any items that have ever been in his inventory. He also makes a temporary template out of any non-fs or non-jedi skills he has ever had. The clone is made, and once cloning is complete, genetic memory is deapplied automatically. In order to stop people from using genetic memory as a respec, if you have had genetic memory applied to you, if you leave the cloning facility it is automatically disapplied, and the character returns to normal. Also, combat cannot be initiated inside the cloning facility. Also I must fulfill a promise I made.I promised to mention that dartredmoosh from the forums think bio-engineers should be able to craft nunas.

I believe that this would be a fun expansion for everyone. In it we add the planet Kamino, three playable species, underwater combat, cloning, fun for everyone, and the ability for a creature handler to use a clone or multiple clones of his friends!

This is a letter I sent to the devs, it is also under expansions on the forums, I thought you guys would enjoy it if I posted here too. I'm a bounty hunter as well and thought you guys would like it because it involves Jango a little. Yes yes, I know Jango wasn't just a bh, he was a mandalorian as well, I don't want flame posts please.

I just learned Kit Fisto is Naulotan and the squid people are quarren. I know Jango was adopted by the mandalorians, and wasn't really one, but still, he was a mandalorian warrior all the same. I just didn't want people flaming me and thinking I was a noob.

Well, I don't like it. Sorry.

First, there are the Sub-Troopers (specially crafted scout-armour with expansions for submarine-combat), not submarines.
Second, submarines follow the exact opposite design specifications of aircrafts and space ships. You can not use the space combat system in the submarine system, it would suck, big time. Call me a realism-freak, but it sucks if subs are like spaceships - and developing a new engine just for the sea? Sorry, there are far more important issues.
Third, the cloning idea, I don't like it. In fact, I hate it for quite a few reasons, the most prominent one being that it will actually make any pets obsolete since a clone will, for sure, be stronger (since he is level 70, in contrast to level 65 which for non-chs is the maximum level of a pet they can have (AT-ST).
Sorry, your idea doesn't fit with the Star Wars universe.

Oh and it's not the best thing a CSR likes your ideas, in my experience the CSR don't even know the game, let alone have any clue about Star Wars.

I thought about a scuba suit system, but I thoguht it might be stupid. Also I said it would be similar to the space combat system. If you think about it, a star wars sub can move and shoot like a fighter. A submarine can stop underwater. Why did you have to insult it? Since when do non-ch's have really strong pets. I can take out an AT-ST in 10 seconds. Also, the strongest level pet a creature handler can have is level 70. It would be equal to a creature handlers pet. A clone is only for creature handlers. Therefore an AT-ST will still be the strongest non-ch pet.

It has potential, but I'm not crazy about the submarine part.

I like the introduction of the three new species though.

If you don't like the submarine part you don't have to do it. Just like piloting in the current game.
