Thread: Event Tonight on Starsider: A call to all Jedi and Bounty Hunters

With patch 20 on the way its now more important than ever for bounty hunter'sto havea better understanding of how to properly approach fighting a full template as they will soon be doing it solo. Tonight I intend to run training for our bh guild, the Corsec Assassins Syndicate for Hire (CASH). I would like to extend an offer to all high level Jedi willing to help improve the fighting abilities of the local bh's. This is not some silly scheme to try and hunt you, but an honest call for help. Consider that its probably been a while since you've been hunter, or perhaps, you were recently but you dispatched the poor bh so quickly it was little to no fun. By improving our fighting abilities, you help put some excitement back into your Jedi's long lived bh freelife.
I am also opening the invitation to anybh that is not in the guild but would like training as well. If you decide that CASH may be the guild for you, then of course you are invited to join us.
I will make two request.
1) Please dont come overt. I dont want this to turn into a pvpbrawl on the front steps of the PAhall.
2) Bh'splease do not take any missions on the jedi present at this event. Training like this benefits everyone involved in the long run, dont screw it up.
I would like to see anyone interested in attending arrive at the CASH PA Hallaround10:00pm EST. We are just east of Talus, Nashal at waypoint 5105, 5521. I currentlyhave 2Full templateJedi who have said theycancome.Anyoneelse interested please let me know in game, post here, or just show up.

Its very good to see that one of the most respected of bounty hunters on the server I play on is taking the high road and again proving superior attitude can accompany superior skill. If my Jedi were of a level sufficient to provide the challenge you'll need for this, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

if full template jedi "train" you guys and you get better at fighting wouldn't that make you an even greater threat towards young padawans????

Back to the topic, sounds like a great idea to me as long as no-one screws it up (takes a mission). GL with it's execution.

I'm finally back up and on the internet. Early Sunday afternoon only hours after sending out the email for the event a brutal storm rolled through due to the Hurricane moving just west of us. (I live in Land O Lakes just NE of Tampa FL) Lots of lightning,heavy winds andrain. I suspect apower/phone line nearus was hit by lightning because Iwasunable to get on the internet after the stormpassed by.I attempted to contact X'pltr/Amel viacell phone to let him know I was not able to log in for the event, but got a machine. I left messagewith hopes that he got it and was able to run the event for me. I'm really sorry for not being there, but is was out of my control. I hope an event did endup takingplace, and if so, that both BH's and Jedi learned something.
