Thread: Template question. MBH MCM carbs xx4x or bounty 4xxx MCM Master Carbineer.

I am still in respec and was wondering what template you guys think is best for general PvE and some PvP and jedi hunting.

I tried the first template and just found it lacking in firepower. I was not willing to give up the accuracy and defense from a full BH template so I never tried the 2nd.


I am not sure but this may be a better hybrid template with those profs. Personally I prefer MBH/MC/CM4000 but this template would give more CM options...


MBH

Carbineer 4400 or 0440

MCM 4044


with Carb 4400:

Carbine Speed: +50

Carbine Accuracy: +65

General Ranged Speed +40

General Ranged Accuracy + 135

Ranged Defense +180

Melee Defense +155



with Carb 0440:

Carbine Speed: +30

Carbine Accuracy: +65

General Ranged Speed +40

General Ranged Accuracy + 135

Ranged Defense +160

Melee Defense +135


You could add +25 (capped clothing addon) of melee and ranged defense with a shirt and bandolier. Or you could improve your healing efficiency


Pros:

- Improved Carbine Speed and Accuracy from the 44xx Carbineer branch

- 2 dmg shots on separate timers (Advanced Critical and Improved Leg Shot)

- 2 snares to slow the target (Improved Crippling Shot and Improved Electrolyte Drain)

- Paralyze

- Improved Hemorrage reduces action regen hindering their ability to use saber specials and channel force

- 4xxx CM branch for improved healing

- Improved Thyroid Rupture for to reduce target attack speed by 40%


Cons:

- No CM Dots

- No Master Carb speed and accuracy bonuses

- No improved battle armor mitigation from the Carb and CM trees


Other

- Choosing 44xx or x44x carbineer is just a matter of trading off carbine speed for more defenses. Though the xx4x branch does give Improved Charge shot which I find better than underhand shot.

- Add the melee defense FS line for improved +20 melee defense with your last 4 points


The primary goal of this template is to wear down the jedi and keep them from running while you drain their force. The idea is to hit them with hemorrage and keep them at distance and from running with your snares. Then make them drain their force through healing as you hit them with your 2 dmg shots. Keep those states on them and if they do get too close lay on a paralyze so you can get your distance again. The template takes patients and tactics but I think it could be very effective against a high level jedi.
