Thread: Are we really bad people?

Well, as one of those padawans, no, not all BHs are.
I have met and fought some that were downright cool.
For example, the other day. I'm out grinding with my guildmates, and we see this blue dot. He doesn't look like a BH, not carrying a BH weapon, and just walking right up. So in group chat, we are like, nah, can't be.
Well, he was only CL 70, I think, and ended up aggroing some CL80 creatures around us, who incapped him. Well, being the nice people we are, we go over and kill the creature, and I heal the guy.
Next thing I know, his durni is attacking me..lol
Well, after I kill him, we send a few tells back and forth about tactics, and he and I both learned a few things, and parted on good terms.
Problem is, there are the ones like the guy that came right after him, too.
Now, I am CL 61, and he is CL 80.
I ran. No need to lie, I don't want to loose a week's worth of grinding (not a power grinder, and limited time). He also had a friend with him, so I wasn't about to risk it.
So I get all these tells about running like a girl, yadda, yadda. I don't care, doesn't bother me.
But I don't mind fighting, so we talk, and agree that when his buddy leaves, I'll come out and fight. Then he pops the big one.
"Unless you use a rifle or something gay like that."
So this MBH, CL 80, expects me to go out and fight his (in all likelyhood) 600-700 dps carbine, with my 120 dps saber.
When he finds I won't play his silly little game, I am suddenly "The worst Jedi ever."
Apparently, I was just supposed to come out, lay down, and die for him, simply because he is a BH and I am a Jedi.
Well, back to the original post, no, the BH profession in and of itself is not a bad one, and being one does not make you a bad person.
My advice, though, is don't be a goober. If you kill a jedi, be nice, if he kills you, be nice.
And yeah, I believe that goes both ways.

True, true. We're not defenseless. There are exaggerating/lying whiners in every single profession of the game.
Some Jedi, being in the spotlight, naturally seem to whine louder than others. And some geniunely do.

This is true....
For the record, I have YET to fight a BH that didn't act in a very polite and professional manner. All but one we exchanged pleasantries post-mortem.
The mid-priced ones are the ones that are the most defenseless, but still not altogether defenseless.
Now, if the padawan dropped all their elite skills, or did not pick up TKM or something if they were crafters, then they deserve to be shot.

A 150k Jedi is generally an easier kill than an 80k Jedi, IF both Jedi involved have any brains.

i dont understand why these people drop all of there normal proffesions and then naturally drop ther cl to 60 or whatever...
someone this clueless needs to be hunteed a couple dozen times to wake them up
one time i went after a 170k jedi, i saw the damage he was doing to a bol and thought how weak of a jedi was
holy poo did i get surprised, i eventually won, but his mean laser rifle with 1080 max damage was giving me a run for my money
