my template currently is: MBH/MRM/Pistoleer x4x4/Combat Prowess x4xx

while i think this is a good template, i also think that it pales in comparison to a jedi. while i can way out damage a jedi that is nullified by the jedi being able to heal to full health almost instantly. now i had heard that someone w/ CM4xxx could out last a jedi healing. so i am wondering if it is worth it to give up 40 ranged accuracy (pistoleer x4xx), 40 melee and ranged defense (pistoleer xxx4), and Root (pistoleer xxx4) for CM4xxx. thanks again for any input on this!

no its not worth it believe me.

the Root is a must for huntign jedi especially knights.

and to heal with cm 4-0-0-0 you have to heal 3 different times which gives the jedi time to deal even more damage on you.

plus a good tactic for hunting knights is to drag them to the water and root them in there that way they cant heal

That is not correct. I use the MBH/MRifleman & CM0004 Template and it simply kicks ass. It kicks ass because :

- When the Jedi gets close to you you can paralyze him (rooted & completly stunned, cant do sh1t until YOU attack him - for 15 seconds!). Great ability when a jedi comes too close.

- The snare CMs have. It lasts 120 seconds - thats a hell of a snare. And even better, it STACKS with your other roots, which is almost as good as a root, they can barely move with both snares on em.

- In addition to that you got access to 3 Heals + Stims, this way i soloed the Katarn on Kashyyyk on my own and dealed with SEVERAL Jedi Knights already.

If well played this template stops a jedi doing big dmg to you since they are either PERM-ROOTED or completly stunned when too close. Add some combat speed buffs by a doctor and you are definitly unstoppable.

When i attack my marks i usually jump off my bike and open with a Paralyze, followed by a knockdown, 1st snare, 2nd snare... After that i go on range and shoot the crap out of them. The Master Defenders are still tough but you with this template you will keep up with them for afriggen long time - Each time they get close you just paralyze them, throw a heal and get on range again.

Each Jedi i fought so far was impressed by this tactic - I deny to group up with other BHs since i think i should only kill what i can kill on my own. With this template you definitly earn respect when you play your cards well. I love it. If you can try it, i promise you after some testing you will be amazed just as i am.

yeah definitly the only way to fight jedi at this point with their uber heals and roots is combat medic

my template :master combat medic , master rifles , pistols 0-4-0-4 . (im not a bounty hunter) although you could posibly not have pistols if you want to hunt jedi . roots become unesesary when you have improved paralyse .

the tactic that someone else mentioned in this thread will get you a very long fight , the reason you want paralyse is because dont mater how good of a healer you are ,or how much damage you do , the jedi will root you and pound you to dead up close .

the way you do it is this : open with parlyse , stick them with electrolyte drain and tyroid rupture . run , and as you run snare them with your knee cap shot . get distance and see what he does , shot away and use some accuracy food , analyse him , if he roots you , do not dot him , that would be your demise , however if he is a defense stacked jedi , without force run or roots , parylse him again , stick him with a fresh electrolye drain , tyroid , walk away , and trow fire and poison .dont mater how much block and dodge he has , with enhancers the poison will be doing up to 600 damage every 5 seconds , just keep your distance and make sure to keep that knee shot on him . shoot away and he will eventualy die

jedi with force run and roots are a different, stick with distance shots and pray he runs our of force before you run our of mind .(he should)

good luck
