The cap on xp after invest 4 is 60k, but, last I saw once you killed or did anything else to give you xp and you had no BH it took the xp down to 10k.

You will LOOSE experience if your cap is lower than what you have,which it will be. You wont loose it all but possibly some at 4k. Once you go down to Investigation 1 the cap is lowered and the first time you gain experience it will remove what isnt allowed with that cap.

I really want to go Mrifle/Mdoc. I worked so hard for 4000 BH though so i was planning on going Mrifle/Mdoc/4000BH. But i cant do that. so im thinking of giving up bounty hunter. I have some investigation xp banked up but if i drop BH will i still keep that investigation xp?

yeah you'll still keep it. unless of course u trade it in at the village.

If you respec it, then you should have all the Investigation XP for all the 4 boxes banked.

When you use the respec, the xp isnt given up like with surrendering skills, so when you respec the Investigation line, the xp from the boxes remains.

Im not respecing though... what i mean is if i drop all of bh will i still keep all my banked investigation xp so i can retrain them again if i wanted to? Training normally by the way - not respecing.
