When i first became a MBH in january I went master pistolier, when the respec came during the CU I respec'ed to carbineer and it seemed to wrok pretty good for me. Now someone suggested trying master rifleman. I don't use hardly any moves in the carb trees so I'm thinking about rifle since it has cover and some pretty good attacks. My guild mates who are jedi said they have been torn apart by rifleman in a few seconds. Any suggestions? My other skill points are in pistols 0404 and Force Sensative Combat Prowess 0400. I haven't used my token respec and I'm thinking of going to mater rifleman. How is this template working out for other BH?

I just went back to MBH/MRM yesterday. I was one once before, and it worked very very well. I tried out different combos, CM-Pisoleer-Carb, I tried most of them, and the rifleman combo has worked the best for me.

Same here, i have tried all 3. Started with pistols, went to rifleman, tried carbs, and back to rifleman. Vastly superior. Of course I do have a 824 mdps rifle (i know there are better) which gets the job done.
Just to give you an example, I go hunting on the webweaver trails next to the LOS exploit where all the jedi are grinding. The will be grinding 10m fro the exploit spot and 90% of the time they never make it.

i like carbinner rifle are a good support for a carbiner but i have mental mods +50 speed to all weapons
and accuracy so i use trando rifle at 80 m and when jedi run at me i use my 1140 carbine all with carbine skills
with carbine
melee def 250 carbine speed 155
ranged def 330 accuracy 336
speed on rifles is 105 and pistols 105
200k jedi run i hit them so fast and hard :0
but im the exception to the rule

A complete rundown of my template is this
MBH
MRM
0204 Pistoleer
4200 Enhanced Reflexes going for 4400 Nice bonuses to melee and reanged Def for general PvP
With this I've got a knockdown, 2 different area attacks, and let's see.....4-5 (cannot remember right now, at work) hard hitting specials, not to mention a root and snare, all from 65 meters. While I am by no means saying this is the end all be all BH/PvP template, it is very well balanced for power and adaptability. Not to mention the certs for both recon and assault armor.

i just respecd to rifles. I think it will also help me creature hunt alone too. Worse comes to worse i can still use a high end carbine with my new rifle moves too. I almost never used the carbine moves, i always use underhand, critical and torso as my main moves alonf with stopping shot from pistols. the rifle moves just add more high powered shots. from what i heard cover and conceal shot are killer if used right.

Think of these skills outside of bounty hunting too. Do you like to PvP alot? I have found carbine specials used with a rifle to be insanely powerful. I like Rifles for the one on one fight. Pick up the profession that suits your play style.

the only pvp i usually do is jedi vs bh. I mainly like doing adventure missions and hopefull the cover/conceal shot wil help me take on the high level npcs a little better. plus i want to surprise some of my jedi friends lol (my brother will flip when i snipe him lol)

where in the heck do u find a rifle with that much damage? highest rifle i have seen has low 300 base dps which translates to around low 500 modified dps.
