Is the accuracy enough? Do you miss the defences / speed you lose from NOT being a master? Is it because you rely upon MCM mostly for damage?
I'm currently an MBH + M.Carb + CM 4000
I've been contemplating a change in template that would require me to drop down to carbs 0400.
I've used up all my respecs so I'm leery of the grind potential. So, I thought I'd see what you folks thought.
Thanks in advance!

I am currently MBH/ MPistoleer/ Carb 0400 / Medic 0010. I tried this after a being MBH / MCarbs for a long time. I definately notice the speed loss when I switch to my proton but it isn't unplayable. The best thing about the 0400 branch is having leg shot to compliment advanced critical and crippling to snare. With some speed CA/AA you would not notice the difference.

I suspect that I was writing my topic when you posted this. I made the jump this weekend from your template to the 0400 McM. While I am still learning the nuances of the McM, I havn't felt the loss of my carb skills to much. To be honest i only ever used Leghit and snare anyways. The speed I notice.. but not to the point where I felt it was nailing me.
The few 1 on 1's i had the chance to try since I reground I definitatly felt the bonus of the CM debuffs. Played smart, I think the McM build creates more oppertunity for outsmarting opponants.
My current quandry.. is whether to stay with carbs at all.. looking at rifles 4000 :S

im running with mbh/doc4004 and enough artisian to keep my vendor up. my weapon of choice is a damage/sac capd carb. get seas to make up some of the difference and you will be fine. while i am not uber fast, the speed buffs and seas make up for it. while i dont have uber defence, the doc heals make up for it. i can do the npc missions almost afk, with no trouble at all.

I am a MBH/MCM/0400 Carbs.... I maxed my carb acc/speed and gen acc./speed and havent noticed a difference. I am actually stronger than when I was MCarbs. The only thing I miss, is with my previous template, I also had 0404 pistols and had the stopping shot.

That's my template too.
With the latest patch, snares no longer stack, so kiting while using a carb is much more difficult. I've contemplated switching back to either rifles or pistols (I've been MP / MCarb/Mrifles at various points) because cripple shot doesn't last nearly as long as the CM snare.

I have actually been thinking about grinding pistols out and getting 0003 pistols for the stopping shot

electrolyte drain and cpille/kneecap no longer stack?
ah, that is too bad. they should have kept it. its not like chain rooting.

I just switched from mbh/mpistol/cm4000 to mbh/mcm/carbine0400 and im loving it so far. Picked up some great enhancers for my fire and poison, aswell as my debuffs. Just had a new suit of battle armor made energy layerd to 7007 energy protection and had it sliced to 75% armor break reduction. I use a proton carbine and did 100% costumization on speed giving me a 12% boost. I do notice that i fire slow now but with the help of carbine speed and general ranged speed tapes imslowly closing the gapas i aquire the tapes.

Now I wonder as MCarbs if those tapes were added how much better in Carbs one could be? Or are we looking at diminishing returns sort of thing?
Thanks for all the input folks!

You would see some improvments, but mostly diminishing returns

Enhancers for the dots? Where do you get those? What are they called?
