Thread: Pre CU BH has questions about our profession post CU

Couple of questions about the CU for us BH's, I played before and was a MBH working my way up to doctor:
#1, I will not be pvp'ing much on land. If I do any, it will be in space if at all. My question is this: Is CH still a pretty broken profession when it comes to soloing mobs? If so, what would you recommend for the best mix with MBH to do NPC based missions, quests and lairs with no pvp being brought into the equasion of the template with the current changes in place? Basically, I love pets, I love having them around, but I dont want worthless ones, I want to be able to use them as a somewhat decent tank, if not ill just choose another template that will allow me to do the tanking.
#2, I was wearing composite before the cU, I was wearing it after when I logged in last night for the first time since release of the system. I noticed that I could refit the armour, and it said as a BH I should use assualt. But it still looks like composite. So I went to the store, and bought some "assualt" armour in coronet, yup, still looks like composite. So my question is, what is some of the other new armour (not really into the RISC? armour look) that a solo, non guilded, rebel BH with 1000 faction only could buy that is as effective, or better then composite that just doesnt look like it? I saw this one fella in a star port, and he had on this really robotic looking stuff. I also looked on the webpage and saw the faction assualt armour for rebels, but I dont know if Its really expensive FP wise, or price, I have about 1k faction righ tnow and 2m in credits.
#3, I have a HLLC I bought last night, is this a decent weapon for PVE stuff? I love the look, and the graphic of the discharge, but I also dont wanna gimp myself when fighting creatures.
Thanks all for the help - Ive read a lot of the CU upgrade BH guides, but in reality most of them dont explain anything in regards to the class but basic very starter info, like how to run missions, or advice on how to kill jedi, both I know how to do, and im not really interested in SWG pvp as I feel its lacking a bit in creativity.
