I know you can get some pretty sweet fwg5's but are pistols so bad it dosent matter?

well yes but i would go MCM/pistols 0004 or something similar instead

I have been both MPistols and MCM . Outta of the 2 I have killed moreJedi with MCM . Mind Trama gets them nearly everytime .

Pistols/Master Bounty Hunterawesome temp I've been MCM. The learning curve for Pistolsis pretty easy and you can root them when they run. I got more kills with Mpistols than with MCMi like the defense of PistolMCM is a great temp too just not my style to sit down and do all kinds of poisons.

I was MBH/MP/2000 CM/4000 CombatProwess/0400 Reflexes before I went to the "dark side". I loved it. Plenty of crowd control with stopping shot and disarming shot which I found to be one of the best moves that I had. Get yourself some 8k resist recon armor with a 75% armor break slice, the highest min/lowest SAC FWG5 you can find, some pyro, +19 Healing Eff BE clothes, Bacta Toss and Spreay enhancers and blast away. Hit /disarm & /duelist when rooted, KD when they're action is low, and you should do well. One other piece of advice is don't use /stopping too much when you have them hurting. You'll want it when they turn to run. Also, make sure you have pyro in you when you fire /stoppingbecause you don't want that to miss with the long cooldown. The best combo I found for dishing out damage was to alternate between /quickDraw and /critical. You can mix in a /torso too if you want, but that doesn't do as much damage.

I prefered MBH MCM Pistols xxx4 in the end though. Just a matter of taste i guess.

You have to know how to fight as aMPistol BH because you almost always within range of being hit and you do less damage than other professions so you have to know how to last. That being said you can beat Master Defenders, but you have to root, knockdown and heal at the right times.

The coolest thing is that if your opponent is running a aura macro you can hit them with disarming shot when the macro is about to refresh aura and they'll either have to dump the macro and start it again or they'll be without it for 50 seconds.

i am a mbh/mpistoleer and have been for a long while. the pistoleer profession is not a damage dealer, i consider myself more of a force drainer and can last against alot of jedi for quite a while. my playstyle fit's the pistoleer role. always on the move and always thinking. it might take some time to get used to it but once you do you will never go back. states/disarm shot/and root make for a very viable template. good luck in your decision.
