Well for me its happened twice, the first time was during the day and happened to have some fella join in on my fight against a grinder on dant (gave the grinder a thumbs up, glad to see someone outside of kashyk). And the other time was quite late at night at my place (USA) so very late for the Europeans so i guess that because few online jedi were on the terminals that i happened to stumble across someone with the same mission as me when we were both "browsing" through the local armoursmith vendor. And let me say one thing, when you have a partner, the fun level of fighting a full template jedi goes up so bloody much it makes you miss the old system.

But anyway thats not what i'm here to talk about in my unstructured and crappy post

Instead i'm more interested in the fact that one of jedi guildmates was consistently getting hunted by 2 bh's who had the same mission on him, and both attacked himat the same time and has he said, they seemed grouped, but he was a jedi so you can expect that over reaction to the hunt and the accusation of something unruly going on. So i just thought that it must have been a coincidence like when its happened to me, but then later on i had another acquiantance (sp?) who was also claiming that a group of bh had formed together to kill a jedi in his grinding group.

So my point is, it was probabaly just a coincidence in both of these cases, but is there any way to increase these chances in the first place? Anyway time for the paddie ganking flames to arrive, but for your information i have never a ganked a padiwan so shove it.

It's still technically possible for several BHs to get the same mission. It's just a lot more difficult than it was before.

This happened to me too. I spent 30 mins fighting a Jedi and another BH ran up and DB'd him.

I think I read in the notes that 5 BHs can have the same Jedi's mission.

This must have been a slow time for my server because I also got the same Jedi's mission 3 times in a row around the same time. Got the mission, found him cloaked sitting inside a private house and dropped the mission 3 times in a row.

Well in The Star Wars role Playing pnp, there was a bounty hunter code. Basically its taboo to take another person's mark if they have it already in their sights, and do not need assistance. I think You could be blacklisted for interfering in a BH getting his mark.

With the possibility of up to 5 BHs holding the same mission it is always possible that 2 of them could arrive at the mark at the same time, especially if not many Jedi are online at the time. As an experiment I tried to get the same mission as my friend, gave up after 4 HOURS and a few crates of droids, so I think planned,grouped "gank squads" (sic) are pretty much a thing of the past (if they ever existed in the numbers crying Padis would like the devs to believe).

Regardless of this, every Padi to ever end up in the hole still claims to have been "ganked" by 37 BHs all with his mission, he killed 36 of them but the last one caught him when his force was low
