I justed want to post a quick story that true Ch's will understand. My first profession mastered was Ch and it was my goal from day one. I had Ch for a long time, In the old days pre armor and buffs i walked and tamed every babie i saw. It took me months not days to master. I don't look down on grinding it out in days or weeks it was just better for me to experince the game that way. So i'm not to bright. Well I master other professions along the way but always kept Ch. I lived thru the nerf (sort of I guess like we all did). But i did Ch for the pets, I love the pets and they are my friends. I liked helping others with pet issues,

Well two months ago i decided to follow my holo and needed to drop a profession and made the mistake of dropping Ch (well it;s broke and nerfed so why not).

Well i've regretted it ever since. In fact i'm grinding my way back again. I could not stand seeing a cool baby and not be able to tame. Could not stand having only my lowend pets and only two at that.I missed helping newbies with a free mount or training a new pet for them. This game is what each of us make of it and not always the Dev's fault for the state of the game. For me it was a big mistake to drop CH and i wanted others to consider it before giving up. May be different for you but i'm going back to Ch broke or not. I liked several other professions but truely love Ch.

Well like i said i'm not to bright but i enjoy the game and i make it fun for me. I don't wait for the devs to spoon feed me fun.Even broke i can contribute to the Ch community and the game. I hope others do as well. So ex-master now novice 1-1-1-1 ch say's think twice before giving up on Ch if you truely love pets.

I hear what ya saying. I mastered ch as my first profession then dropped it 5 months later and i wish i hadn't. Then i got a 2nd account and now she's a master ch but im stuck again. No hunting groups seem to need a ch except to get higher level missions on dath and the fact that when i do use my pets in a hunting group, no one but me endes up healing em even though they've probably saved their stupid butts : /

I too used to a creature handler when the game came out. I played it till october then switched to shadowfire. It took me a while to figure out that I rly liked ch and needed it back. I went through other professions and didnt find any that were as cool as ch. To all you creature handlers out there, dont give up. We will be made better and even if we dont. Its still a fun profession.

Welcome back and good luck on the way back up to Master.

I am going to force my character to be reliant on my pets again. When I dropped Ranger, I wanted to go ahead and finish out what profs I had started and that meant Rifleman and Marksman. Well I have done that and at the expense of Master Scout also. I know my groupmates will be a little dismayed but I am dropping Master Rifleman. They love the fact that I can take down an AT ST with either concealshot (boring) or with HS3 in half the time (more exciting as a battle is actually taking place). This shouldn't be done by a RM. and with the combat balance coming it won't be (or shouldn't be) allowed anymore, at least the concealshot way.

I am going back to Master Scout and maybe even Ranger, but CH is where I will stay. With my combat abilities dropping my pets abilities will be heightened. I don't need to be able to take down a Bull Rancor in 9 seconds (Yep, 9 seconds) . I need to be able to have a tough fight with them, I am going to use my pets to the best of their abilities.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

FINALLY today I looted something worth while. After countless missions and more jars of bugs then I could ever feed to the wookies, i loot a +17 general melee speed +7 Ranged Def +3 Polearm Def CA. WOOHOO!

Dont give up you BH'ers who havent looted jack yet, I was amoung you just mere hours ago

BTW, any of you guys have an idea what a B/O would be on something like this?
