I thought I'd bump this since I have the exact same question. I have an add on to the question however. Assuming they work, do the droid speed SEAs shorten the time before you get the first waypoint update, or the time between updates, or both? Also, does anyone know if the tracking droid effectiveness tapes work?

Thanks,

the droid speed attachments will shorten the time it takes for the anakryd to give you feedback or when you first launch a seeker. Tracking droid speed attachments are what will shorten the time between tracks. Once your at master the effectivesness tapes wont make any difference. Droid effectiveness is what keeps your droids from being eaten bya space slug or crashing into a meteorite(but most of yall probably wouldnt know this since most either respeced or did inv 1 and 2 at the same time, but dont mind me, I'm just a grumpy old bh).

I had droid speed and tracking droid speed attachments in my clothes that i used pre-cu. They worked just fine then I think and Im pretty sure i could tell the difference . I havnt hunted post cu so i can say for sure, but as far as I know they should still be working fine.

I was a BH before you even started playing Jr. I gave it up after 6 monthsbecause there wasno love from the Dev's. Now I see it's finally starting to come around so I'm trying it again. As for my respec, I havn't used it yet so I'm MBH the old fashion way (not that that should gain me any more respect in the community or anything)

Thanks for answering though. I have a total of +11 droid speed outfit (from way back) and I couldn't notice much of a difference but I didn't time it with a stopwatch or anything so maybe it does help. I just wondered if anyone had actually confirmed if they worked or not. I guess that job is going to fall on me afterall.

the droid speed attachments probably wont make much of a difference at master since the droid speed mod is already so high when you master. they were really helpful to the people who only had inv 3. If i can get myself to stay on the ground for any length of time Ill try to test out my attachemts tonight too and see if my results come up like yours

I myself am unsure whether droid speed mods work or not. However I can tell you which droid mod certainly does not work and really should be addressed now seekers take up a 'use' when tracking. The 'Tracking Droid' mod. with my set of Bh gear on I should get +34 tracks with a seeker droid. But no I like every one else gets the standard 12 tracks which people get at master. Now that needs to be fixed.

i have both attachments in a shirt i put on when tracking my mark.. i noticed the shorter times to updates and the fact i never lose a bh droid.. i save money but not wasting seeker droids now.. i use per mission whether it takes me 10 minutes to track it or 35 minutes..

to me their worth the money cause i have made that money back by not buying seeker droids..

Are you saying that your droid never loses track of target? I have noticed that I get around 5 mins of tracking out of each seeker, and you are saying that with your tapes you don't lose track of your target after 5 mins, the same seeker keeps going for as long as 35 mins?!?

Wow, what tapes do you have exactly, and what is their bonus?

Thanks!
