Thread: So are they actually gonna fix the ride?
You can use stims while in a ride. And knocking some one with +500 to there defenses out of a vehicle in the one shot you get before they are out of range can be quite uncertain, not to mention if you knock them out as soon as they stand up they can get right back in and your second kd wont stick. Personally this shouldnt be alowed the devs said BH missions were ment to be 1 vs 1 not 1 BH vs 1 jedi and his friends speeder. They need to make it to where you can blow up the speeder that the jedi gets into or make it to where you cant offer rides to people in combat. I'd prefer the first because i do belive getting a ride from your master orfriend is a viable escape option however i belive theperson offering the ride should be going out on a limb and risking his vehicle in the process.

Imo it shouldnt be possible at all yet alone having your frind JTL you out. Same thing just even more annoying.
Jedi have a ton of abilities to get away from harms waythese days (im talking 1on1 vs BH not full group PvP so drop the argument with 20m cloak....) no need for this to be one of them.
What about the exploit where a Bounty hunter comes for me, and his friend comes along and spams me for rides while I am trying to fight his BH buddy?
The offerRide exploit works both ways.
It does need to be fixed.
I remember reading an interview with a SOE High Lord Muckety-muck (honestly can't remember the name). He said, effectively, that SOE is aware of what's going on and will keep an eye on it.
As far as the spam issue goes, offer ride and inviting someone to your ship should only be options available to people you're grouped with.
