Thread: Kinetic or energy

I would assume that a weapon that deals kinetic energy would be better for beating jedi, due to the fact that they all wear psg's that reduce energy effectiveness. Am i wrong? I am about to throw some money on a weapon, and would like to know what i should get.All opinions are appreciated.

You probably should have both. Personally I carry a good scatter pistol (kinetic), proton carbine (energy), nym's slug-thrower (kinetic), and also an elite carbine (energy). I start with an energy weapon to see if they have a PSG and work from there.
It depends on your template though. I am limited because I have carbine and combat medic as my other professions.
