Thread: idea to fix the forced full template hunting

Awhile back I read a pretty good idea about getting BH prestige points(I don't remember who had the original idea so I cant give credit, sorry). If you didn't have so many points you couldn't hunt jedi. You would have to do npc missions until you got enough to hunt jedi. A death(by jedi or npc) would force you to lose points... lose enough and your back to npcs.
Well how about they separate jedi into tiers, like the JTL stuff, and as you gain points you are moved up in the tiers... You can only hunt in your tier. This would make it so the best BHs that can take out full template jedi would stay in the top tier, maybe hunting 210k+... the ones that couldn't take them out consistently might drop down a tier after a few deaths and have to hunt 180k-210k to get back up into the top tier. The tiers would go all the way down, maybe the bottom one being 25k-90k.
This would prevent lowbie griefing, as after a few kills the BH would have to hunt harder targets. This would also give a jedi a reason to stay and fight instead of run, what the jedi have always wanted, a risk for the BH. And this would still give the lesser skilled BHs some content that they can actually handle.

What would keep you from just taking deaths to stay in the lower teirs?
Honestly, I think the whole intention here is that not only are you not allowed to handpick your targets, but that you get a exposure to the full spectrum of players and PvP. Some will be easy kills for you. Some will be nearly impossible for you. Some will be perfectly matched. When you take a mission, its a gamble.

Also, I don't really see what the Jedi gets out of the experience? If you mean that I get the satisfaction of taking prestige points away from you, well, that doesn't really benefit me at all, and I don't give a flying duck about your points going up/down/sideways, even tho many BHs seem to be obsessed with making me lose XP.

No one is forceing you to hunt full template. If the guy is CL80, chances are hes a full template. Just drop it and get another.
