I personally like rifles because of the range..I keep some pistols for those close encounters, but from what I have read carb would be best. Rifles cloak is cool as heck!

Both of them have their own benefits. I want to be as effective as possible in pvp and pve, and look bad ass doing it as well. Anyways i'm just wondering howyoucarbineer speced BH fair in the fight against jedi, as well in pve situations. Is there any way to make carbineer the powerhouse i feel in rifles? And for those who have done both, post your experiences and thoughts about it.

I'd say carbines, but with the caveat that you will need good carbines. If you get some nice carbs you will get nice damage and a lot of versatility with Master Carbineer. I tend to control my mark more rather than just out and out damaging them. My fights may last longer, but I win 75% of the time. I would probably win more if I concetrated on getting good armor and food, lol. I am MBH/MC/ Pistoleer 0404 and I also have a pistol that will out damage my best carbine, both are nice, I have seen better, but they do the job. If you have mediocre carbines you will not see very good damage output and you are resigned to managing a lot more.

Throw in 4000 cm with the carbineer/bh template n then jedi will run to the hills.
