I was a Master Bounty Hunter a year or so ago and I haven't played since then. I just logged back on and I am very lost. I'm a master bounty hunter and nearly a master pistoleer. What weapons and armor should I be using? What's available now? What attacks are good? Bad? I need a lot of basic information to get back into this thing... Please help!

What you're going to want to maximize your Jedi killing ability is:

MBH/MR with CM 4-0-0-0 *or* MBH/MC with CM 4-0-0-0

Get some good Tantel recon armor (6000+ energy res for those pesty light sabers) and add a good PSG (wont help against a light saber but is good when fighting ranged professions/npcs). Then you're going to want to pick up some food and spices (brandy,pixes, ect), add in a high damage LOW SAC weapon w/ a good damage pup, and a supply of Stim Ds and you got a good basic set-up.

As far as specials, with BH you want /duelstance for defense and adv. crit shot for dam. Underhand shot (kd) is good too for getting a melee opponent out of range. As far as carbines, improved legshot is your powerhouse default attack. With rifles I'm not sure as I never played it.

I'm sure I missed a lot of stuff but that should get you started

Comp armor is no longer the UbEr armor it once was... In fact, Bone armor is by far better now LoL
