I have met several BH that go after the same mark over and over. I dont hunt same person twice the greifing has got way out of control. The new system will make it harder yes to find Marks but since they keep Nerfing the crap out of jedi they will still be easy to kill. I don’t think anyone’s complaining about how hard it is to kill Jedi but how hard it is to find them and get them to fight. A lot of us are more annoyed that with the /duel exploit and the fact that we have to get close enough to tab through any mobs or npcs surrounding the mark that we loose the element of surprise which is the BH’s best weapon against Jedi. The chances are that if we spook the mark they will simply run to a safe place and log off.
After publish 20 it will be impossible to go to the Ryatt trails and note the Jedi grinding in there with a view to picking up their missions and returning and even if you did get the mission, unless they are AFK they can just use the Los exploit. With the housing TEF fixed now even more Jedi are going to be exploiting Kashyyyk than before.
As far as the sandy panties comment goes from ATF_Psycho420 everyone knows that 5 on 1 ganks on paddies by BHs are a myth. No-one’s ever had 5 BH with the same mission at the same time come after them that I know. The only time I’ve ever seen a 5 on 1 gank is by PvP GCW Jedi camping Eisley starport.
Most low level paddies get hunted by new BHs, just because you’re CL 80 doesn’t mean you know your template or are a great PvP’er. The mission payouts gave new BHs a chance to go up against someone they had a fighting chance of winning against. The problem now is that because of all the respecs 2x exp and Kashyyyk exploits most of the Jedi on the terminals will be full template or near enough so the new BHs wont stand a chance. Even now I think that 85% of BH/Jedi encounters end up with either the BH dying or the Jedi escaping and this figure will rise with the introduction of publish 20.
I’m sure most of us will continue to play BH and adapt to the changes for better or worse. None of us are mad at the Jedi on the servers but we’re p155ed off with SOE for fixing 2 things (online status and faction) but breaking 2 other things (names and mission payouts)
A lot of the BHs in the game aren’t uber and don’t have millions to spend on the best armour and weapons but they want the chance to PvP with a bit of role play thrown in. Jedi ruined the GCW for other players who don’t stand a chance now so they have only bounty hunting left.
