Thread: Flame Thrower Bugged My Mark?

I bit off more then I could chew today on the BH terms and got incap'ed by my npcmark. Someone jumpedin to help right before my droid was going to finish the mark off...the guy(a good sumaritan PC type)who jumped in was using a flame thrower...I THINK. The mark fell over and had a little flame looking thing over his head, but wasn't dead. I couldn't attack...my droid couldn't either. The guy was just laying there regenning health slowly. I stood there till he was about 50% regen and he never got back up. He just laid there on his back with the flame thing burning over him. I finally got tired of waiting and left. I'm new here...so could someone explain to me what happened with the flame thrower?

There is a bug with creatures/npc's getting incapped by the Flame DoT from Flamethrowers. If they drop below zero health from the tick of the DoT, then they will not die and will become what I refer to as a flame zombie. Normally they will stand back up and attack again once they get above 0 health again unless somehow this bugged your mission.

I logged right after this happened. I came back about 6 hours later...the guy was STILL laying there! He was at full HP and neither I nor my droid could attack him. "Invalid Target" was the spam I got. I just deleted the mission. Now I know never to become a BH and a commando...unless I plan to leave the flames at home.
