Thread: Faction Hunting and non jedi hunt ideals

I think bh's should hunt other people then just jedi. After all, Han Solo was the most soughtafter mark in the original series and he was not a jedi. Smuggler is often used as an option to most people. And yes, i think it would be cool if a smugglers vis went up if his spice or sliced items were to be found during an inspection. Would make it a true underground or blackmarket. Making the stuff more expensive and rare so everyone isnt running around with it.
But this is what i would really like to happen.
Faction bounties, when you kill the person, they lose the some of faction opposite faction of who sent them. Say someone is killing valarians for jabbas faction points. LadyValarian can post a bounty for the faction harvester and when the BH kills the mark, he loses Jabba faction and anyother faction thatwould be gained from killing Valarians.
Of course this would work with Imp and reb factions too. Would put a little fear into the people standing aroundcoronet or mos eisly gaining factionat no risk. Of course, this makes too much sense for me, so it will never happen.

Great idea. Plus it would make doing the Jabba themepark a bigger risk. But the problem is: most people that grind out Valarians and Jabbas and do the themepark are new players, and would be no match.

true, some would be marks would be overmatched by bh. But hey, in this scenrio, they are only losing faction points.

So how about including a system to vis for BH's who them selves would be placed on the terminals
Andto overcome the issue of experienced BH's gimping newbies, the BH vis would be increased when they successfully killed the mark, in proportion the difference in CL level between the mark and the BH. So if a L80 player when after a CL15 player doing a theme park for the first time then then they would get a large increase their vis (The citizens of the planetbeing so outraged and the murder of such innocent player). But going after a CL70 mark would only give a small increase in vis (Well if he was that experienced he probably did something wrong, so he deserved it)
This would also protect non combat characters with low CLin a similar way.
Now here is the twist, the BH with a high vis get to be hunted by Jedi's - aswell as other BH's. Jedi's being tasked with protecting the innocent and keeping the peace.
What do you think?

Although making it to a full template jedi and hunting the ones who hunted me would be fun, i'm not sure jedi's hunting bh's would be best for the game.
I like the cl vis though, cause that would help the half template padawans too. I always thought it would be fun to do hunts for the different sub factions and would be cool if bounties for these sub factions were located at their poi. Want to run some bounties for jabba, head to his palace. Feel like helping the CorSecs? Coronet. The Corsair, the Corsair Canyon. I know the themes sorta had you doing stuff for jabba and nyms, but it would be cool to run a proffession specific theme for different factions too. Of course being able to accept missions from a faction would depend on your faction standing with them. Maybe raise the cap past 5000 and get special missions once you reach acertain faction standing with them.
I would love to have a badge, Killed Lady Valarian, or Killed Jabba (hey jabba was killed). Or whatabout other npc BH's other then Boba Fett.Where is Bossk? I am sure that every proffession has questions similar to these, i just feel bh could be so muvh more then what it is now.
